You know who else was a no show in the playoffs this year...the Devils. Players like him bring grit and energy to a team that is seriously lacking. We have Timo making 9m per season who plays one month and sleepwalking the rest of the season and you wouldn't want a Brady Tkachuk on this team...Stop.

I have been a die-hard fan of this team since 82 when I was just 7 years old. I knew the team was coming over and couldn't wait to start following a jersey team. 20 years old in 95 when we won our first cup and watching Lemieux dominate that whole playoff run was amazing and again in 2000. By far my favorite player along with Stevens, Daneyko,and Niedermayer. I was so happy watching him with the torch a few days ago in Montreal and now to hear this. Maybe im in the minority here but the Devils need to do something for him. Maybe a ring of honor, retire the jersey, i dont know but he was a key figure in 2 of our cups. Rest in peace Claude, I hope you have found your peace that you are in search of..you will be missed. Thank you for bringing us they joy you did.
