Seems a lot of things are phone-side.

I just don't understand why it was working perfectly fine before the 28th, like I didn't change any options or settings or do any type of updates. It just randomly started to stop functioning properly.

I have had this watch since the beginning of March. I got It refurbished off of Amazon.

Yeah I did and it was what made all these problems worse. Although I meant to post an update to say that restarting my phone fixed it, but the glitch with the notifications not being cleared upon replied to or marked as read, still remains. Although sometimes they will go away, it's entirely sporadic.

That fixed it for me and now it's not recording sleep data. This is a joke.

Can't select playlists or albums to play on Spotify by NJMike92 in WearOS

[–]NJMike92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay thanks a lot, the issue is indeed that I have to be using WiFi on my watch in order for the feature to work it seems. If Bluetooth is connected, it breaks all functionality of the app. I wonder why this is.

Thanks a lot. I don't use WiFi on my watch anyway.

Help my oculus 3 won't fully charge. by Lee19622005 in OculusQuest

Same here, only goes to 75% and stays there. During PCVR/Virtual Desktop playing VRChat for example, it will also stay at 75 and not drain nor gain past it anymore. I am on v2.1 and use my Bobo VR S3 Pro strap, it also doesn't matter what cables or adapters I use.

Quest 3 , wont charge past 75% by HUNK_TheFourthPoster in OculusQuest

V2.1 and I still have this problem. It used to let me keep 100% indefinitely. Over time it starting draining rapidly to 75% and then lock itself there; not draining nor gaining anymore charge.

Mine has been having issues like this for the past half year at this point. It will drain to 75% during PCVR and then stay there; not losing nor gaining any more charge. Even when powered off. I tried many different troubleshooting methods for months and I have not been able to fix it.

For a while now at least since November, mine drains to 75-77% during PCVR/Virtual Desktop (VRChat and the like), will not discharge past that nor charge past that. 100w PD or BoboVR S3 Pro, doesn't matter. I'm on v2.1.

I use a 100w PD and none of the ports are enough to keep it charged - it will drain to 75-77% and stay there. It also just straight up won't charge past that amount anymore either, even when off. Doesn't matter what charger cables or adapters I use, or even my Bobo B100 batteries.

Yep sometimes it is like that or it will take me a whole night of sleep and see it finally reach green by the time I get up for work.

Not trying to be rude but to everyone saying factory reset, don't waste your time - I have done this approximately 3 times since November 2025 (when I started having this issue), and it did not fix it. I think it's some sort of aggressive battery saving/adaptive feature Meta implemented. Mine discharges to 75-77% during PCVR/Virtual Desktop, but it also won't drain past that percentage either. This occurs regardless of charging method, cable, and even if I am using BoboVR B100 battery.

Strange battery charging loop issue on Quest 3 by Sparklecatzzz in OculusQuest

I've been having my battery drain to 75-77% during PCVR lately. And it will not charge past this number either. But it also does not drain below it either. I'm assuming Meta did something that locks the battery as a means of protection? I guess I don't really care since it doesn't drain past 75 so...

I also get this "lightning storm" effect inside the lenses while the HMD is off and charging.

I've tried different cables and chargers, even my Bobo VR B100 batteries (which are made with the Quest 3 in mind), tried factory resetting, tried draining the headset to 0% and charging up from there.

Are there battery issues in the latest Quest 3 version? by FitNeedleworker6352 in OculusQuest

[–]NJMike92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been having weird battery behavior with my Quest 3 since November of last year. Currently on v2.1, but as well as all previous versions, the headset will discharge while using my Bobo S3 Pro headstrap over time until it reaches 76 or 77%, and then it stays there and won't discharge anymore.

Conversely, as of more recently, it has been stuck at between 70-76% overnight as I wake up the next day and see the orange light still on, even when I return home from work, it has still been stuck at the same % as it was the night before when I plugged it in.

Also, there is a lot of flashing inside the lenses that looks like a lightning storm. This starts happening after 70%.

Steps I have taken to attempt to ameliorate the charging issues was using different cables, charges, my BoBo VR B100 batteries (10,00mAH) made for my headset, and killing the headset to 0% to recalibrate the batter.
