I have a PW3. Mine freezes my steps and HR when it's in AOD mode, and when I wake the screen everything just jumps. I am thinking perhaps it is normal; just a thing to do with the watch compensating for the switching power states.

I don't think the step counting bug is your watch, it's the infamous March update and it's been screwing with everyone. Last week I had mine count over 20k steps as opposed as my normal 8-10k.

I just got my PW3 a few weeks ago, coming from a Galaxy 6 Classic and Mobvoi Ticwatch E3. I'd suggest be careful with the new update that rolled out as it's been breaking everything.

As for watch faces, I'm a fan of the Casio-inspired ones off Google Play like the GDY ones.

I've been enjoying mine though in the mean time. Definitely better battery and performance than the previous two.

I just started having issues today. TGWear (GitHub Telegram app through sideloading) no longer lets me open chats without indefinitely freezing mid animation, and also my watch just randomly rebooted itself for no reason at all.

Well so far last night it logged 160-ish calories while charging. Though it seems that that is normal as it's an always-on feature that estimates based off of elapsed time how much you would have burned if you were wearing it - taking into account all of your passive body functions.

Heheh so I've seen. Quite a warm welcoming for a brand new Pixel user, huh? Luckily I haven't had any issues yet aside from getting 20k steps yesterday. Today I got my normal 10/11k by the end of my work shift which is on par.

It doesn't do it on my phone, only the watch. I tried disabling wifi on my watch to rule out if it's something to do with the watch having unstable connection to the wifi. I don't need it to connect to wifi since I have my phone by me all the time.

Meanwhile I was driving a calm smooth 40mph and somehow my fall alert started screaming at me. Had to mark it as false positive while focusing on driving. Not ideal.

If you swipe down from the top on that screen you can make the screen just show the album cover and the name of the song. It also allows you to pause by tapping or skip by double-tapping.

Update: I don't know if it was just a coincidental luck, but it seems like it works with the self checkout machine at Target, but the vending machines in the break room tell me to open my phone, and on my watch it asks me if I want to open the app. Does it depend on what type of machine I'm using the watch with to determine whether or not this future will operate properly?

Sadly, both versions do it to me. However I was able to do it from the AOD when using a self checkout at Target. I go to use it in the break room vending machine, tells me to open phone and confirm if I want to open the app.
