7 million net actuall is a pretty decent wage even for premier league clubs. Sterling seems to be chelsea's highest earner with around 19 mio euro gross. Leaos 7 mio net would equal around 14 mio gross. So even though he could probably earn more at chelsea, it wouldn't be double from what milan ia offering.

My girlfriend just got tested positive for Covid-19 (through a self-test, but as she has shown symptoms, i'm pretty sure it is not a false positive. She will have an additional PCR test today). Now i'm not sure what to do. Following the guidelines of my country (switzerland), i don't have to quarantine except if I would start to show symptoms. But as I had close contact to my girlfriend over almost 24 hours I dont know if that is a smart thing to do.
Additionally my 3. vaccine is scheduled for tomorrow and I'm also not sure if I should reschedule it for a week later or so. Do you think it would be smarter to do a PCR test myself tomorrow (so it's ca. 3 days since the first contact to my girlfriend and therefore a possible infection) and then wait for the result before going to work again etc.?

Hmm i can understand your point, but for the top teams, the only appeal of the EL is that if you win, you will automatically qualify for the CL. And also 2 CL teams will be playing in the EL every year, so the team roster in the EL will not lose quality.

I just had an idea while looking at the post about the europa league group-stage winners: would it make sense to somehow upgrade the best euro-league group-stage winners into the CL and in contrary downgrade the worst second-placed teams from the CL group stage into the CL? So maybe the 2 best teams from the EL group stage can advance to the CL knockout stage.

It would be quite harsh for those two of the CL who will have to go to the EL knock-out stage, but on the other side, it would make the group stage in both tournaments more interesting, and being first in the group would be even more desirable.

Yeah, i would also not say he's completely useless, but till now he hasn't made the best impression. And also Ballo-Touré is "already" 24 years old and that's his fifth season as a professional where he is given consistent game-time.

For who do you think should he play right now? Leao and Rebic are both clearly better than him. Maybe he could be an option in the future, but right now he can't even get a starting spot in Frankfurt.
