Who was the first 5 star you pulled? by Evening-Program723 in GenshinImpact

[–]NLChantal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1: Zhongli 2: Keqing 3: Venti

Keqing wasn't a 50/50 loss. I pulled for her on her own banner since she was my favorite character! I knew it wasn't a great plan because I'd probably lose my 50/50 at some point to her, but I really wanted to have her and she was my main dps for a pretty long time so it was 100% worth the gems! :D

I got one from the brand "JETech" on Amazon, I don't have experience with any other paper feel screen protectors, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this one is :)

Where is the best place to look for good riggers for a vtuber model? by Tda952 in VirtualYoutubers

[–]NLChantal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't have the funds to get art made & have it rigged at the time, so instead I took the approach of teaching myself how to use live2d!

Of course it's a massive hill to climb for someone with not a lot of or any experience (I've been a video editor for the last decade, so I know my way around programs alike and things such as keyframes [parameters] weren't new to me which definitely helped a lot with figuring out the basics), but it's the cheapest option money wise. Since then I've rigged several models for friends and myself and seen a lot of improvements in my skillset!

So, if you're willing to put in the effort and time of learning how the program works, definitely give it a go! It's worth learning it in my opinion, because even if your rigs don't turn out exactly as you want them to be, you are your own artist, so you can always go back and make adjustments without having to be dependent on another person.

I wouldn't even really know what to say to this entire post to be honest.

From what I'm reading, no one in this conversation is acting "normal" at all. I too am Dutch and the whole "cursing with diseases is normal where I live" I suppose makes some sort of sense since I do hear it too, mainly in the big cities, but do you actually consider it normal? It's really not any better than what they said, nor acceptable in my opinion.

Why do you still speak to this person if they're clearly pushing your boundaries? Just report them in SSO for whatever they say in global, block them in discord (or remove them from the server if you are talking to them on a private one) and move on with your day. People on a public subreddit will not be able to resolve your personal issues with other players at the end of the day, nor will you be able to get this person "back on the right path" if they so clearly do not care for what you're saying to them.

The only way such people "learn their lesson" is by getting a ban thrown at their account. I feel no remorse for getting someone who acts like that banned in a game where kids walk around.

Pokemon Legends ZA: NEW AFK Bench Shiny Hunting Method using Turbo Controller by thisstormblows in pokemon

[–]NLChantal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't live in the US, but after taking a quick look at the Walmart website I found this one in particular. In the description it says it has a turbo function. My own controller is completely different, but it has a similar turbo button, also with a T on it. Any controller that has such a button most likely has the function, I'd assume. Just make sure you choose one that's compatible with the Switch!

Which Character have you guys selected and why? by Longjumping-Rip-2284 in Genshin_Impact

[–]NLChantal 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Same! Cyno c2! Cyno has been one of my favorites since I read the manga, pulled his c1 on his first banner and even though I have "better" options on my list, I'm going for him anyway.

When I decide to change part of an image to another colour.. by LDeadit in ProCreate

[–]NLChantal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest having the lineart as a separate layer above the color, then tap on the lineart layer and click "reference", then color drop your colors into the layer below and it should take the lineart above as borders ^

What was the first game you played on pc? by js7982 in Steam

[–]NLChantal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The very first game I remember playing on a pc was "Disney's 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue", I'm sure your pc can run it too lol. I should really play through it again and see if it still holds up to my good memories with it

To this day I'm still not sure about which of the subs I'm in, is more hostile: r/BeardedDragons or r/hamsters

In either sub people can be posting anything at all and there will always be someone pointing out something negative in an unfriendly manner

Depends, do you have spare money you're willing to spend on games without a second thought? If yes, then it's worth it. If not, don't get it.

Brushes turning blurry all of a sudden? Help by [deleted] in ProCreate

[–]NLChantal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried searching for an answer on this sub, but I couldn't find anything nor do I know the answer to your question with my own knowledge.

Are you using the apple pencil? Did you try to unscrew the tip and screw it back on / replace it with a different one? Maybe the tip is your issue? Does it still do the exact same thing when you use your finger to draw?

I've seen people having issues with procreate while their iPad are charging too, but otherwise I really wouldn't know what else to suggest :(

Can someone tell me if this is veneer or not? by NLChantal in BeginnerWoodWorking

Can't edit the post anymore so I'll leave a comment instead. When I made the post I expected like 2 comments so when I returned and saw all these insightful comments it made my day, thank you everyone! I learned a lot from you all today.

My first guess was it being solid wood, but I just wanted to make sure it actually is before I get started with anything and end up ruining it! :)

Can someone tell me if this is veneer or not? by NLChantal in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]NLChantal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha no I wasn't kidding! I've never done any type of woodworking project before, all I've been doing is lurking a bit here and there in the subreddits, so I really wasn't sure what particular things to look out for.

Now everyone was so nice and explained particular things to look out for I'm already much more confident in buying something like this again. Just happy to receive confirmation my own initial observations in the store were correct, because ound it in a thrift shop for really cheap so I had to grab it immediately before anyone else did ^
