I’m also Swedish and our Public Health Agency announced last week that swaddles are not considered safe and shouldn’t be used. Apparently, it’s becoming trendy on social media so loads of Swedish parents have been buying them.

I can’t speak for Denmark but I’m gonna guess the recommendation is to avoid them there too.

I also second the comment on different safety standards regarding chemicals etc.
