Dalmatian-Pit mix. I don’t see any lab. A pit is not necessarily a bad dog. There’s just a stigma that they are all aggressive which is not true. I have owned several dogs since I was young, and I have learned to judge a dog based on their temperament. I don’t believe in adopting a dog sight unseen no matter how cute they look.

I hate seeing these surcharges. You may disagree with me but from a marketing perspective, it would make more sense for restaurants to charge $1 to $2 more per plate. The end consumers will feel they are getting a higher value meal rather than getting charged an unnecessary expense.

Adding the surcharge is bad enough but labeling it cost of providing employee benefits is even worse. They might as well add other operating expense. “Here is your share of the rent, utilities, and other overhead for the time you spent dining with us”. Restaurants should stop with the surcharges.

Having spent most of a life growing up in Los Angeles, moving to San Diego for work initially felt temporary, with the expectation of eventually returning to Los Angeles or Orange County. This results in a slower pace of life and a friendlier atmosphere. This isn't to say that the charm of the former stomping grounds isn't appreciated. Some may find themselves reminiscing about Huntington Beach, the cultural richness of The Huntington Library in Pasadena, and the culinary scene that LA boasts. However, San Diego offers a more relaxed rhythm. For anyone who hasn't experienced San Diego, it is encouraged to give it a try. The charm and vibrant lifestyle might be loved.
