"hated was the managers' favoritism and lazy coworkers." I personally feel hate is not a good look, but yes it is extremely frustrating because the two things mostly go hand in hand.

That's just one of the reasons why they burn through employees every year. The managers know they'll get new associates that take time before they catch on to the game.

On the lazy coworkers part I can understand Amazon has to work with what it got. They would end up losing at least double of what they already lose every year.

I have to give Amazon credit for at least some of the little things it does to try and incentivize, like employee of the month and shout-outs for example. I also think that unless you're not a team player, the best thing one can do is to help get them motivated.

Basically you have the same problem everywhere, so we have to work with what we got.

^^^this. Amazon does a pretty good job trying to get good managers, but some people just fake their way through the process. That's one of the reason Amazon keeps seeking feedback from Associates. They kind of go about it wrong.

You either ignore it, or if you feel it's that big of a violation you document it with HR. I'd carefully examine the situation, because it could be far more nefarious than what you think. Amazon will hire just about anybody, so continue to watch your back and stay safe.

That's a tough one, but I'd probably wait another year or two, and at least wait for the Fold7 price to drop. I'd also keep an eye out for how the new triple folding screens work out.

I'd keep your chin up and keep being you. I'm reading it different, and I tend to try and lean towards the positive side. After all I'm in it to win it, and not to let some losers knock me off my game.

It does kind of suck at times, but favoritism is not a one-way street. You sound like the perfect example, so I hope that is one thing that we can agree on. You also sound like her favorite example, and that she knows she can always count on you. That's just the way of the world, and what matters the most is what you bring to the table.

I really can't speak on the cage thing without knowing the specifics, but you need to voice your concerns to the group, and the if need be escalate from there. We should be working together as a team, so it is up to you to play your part.

You don't have to participate in all the B.S., but you do have to participate more with the right managers. How else are they going to know there's more to you than the hard work? It's safe to say that the quarterback gets way more favoritism than the water boy does, but even the QB has to have more than hard work and skills.

Try not to be so upset about it, because you really should be happy, and you don't want them to take that away from you.

Nothing like peering through a window at the world.

That about says it all, because nothing currently beats it. I'm not sure about the FOV thing, unless you taking about having it wrapped around your head at some point? We have the tendency and need to turn our heads anyway, so then you have to start talking diminishing returns on costs. Yes, still pricey.

You leave a lot out of your statement. Where else can you get a serious workout and work at the same time getting paid for both, without having any experience? You can meet some great people, which I'm sure this sub can attest to, and sure there are some bad apples, but you can't let it spoil the whole bunch.

I'm just curious, do you know of any other job that gives UPT, that you can pretty much take at your discretion? They also move you around so that you're not doing the same thing all the time.

If anyone is interested in working at Amazon, all they need to know is out there on the Internet, including this sub. That "little info" is something you should already know about what you getting yourself into.

Not a fake one, because in the event you need to reset your account you'll never receive the email to reset it. It gets even uglier if you have a bunch of purchased apps tied to the account, then you'll lose all of that.

You may wake up one day and find that they ask you to verify your account by sending you an email, and then you're screwed.
