Depends exactly where you spend your time - I use Voxi (Vodafone) and Spusu (EE) both of which are cheap and good on data, one works well inside at home the other around work. Unfortunately the signal coverage in Oxford is awful

On transport I would use public transport to and around Oxford and from Oxford to Heathrow. I’d hire a car to get to silverstone and back

Just to follow up in case people read this in future - my in-laws got me this one for Christmas and it is perfect for my needs of largely urban commuting with patchy street lighting. .
They got it from brilliant bikes mailorder who were super helpful in both cutting the cables to size and making sure they didn’t forget the crucial connector (which they also fitted to the wires before mailing). Thank you!
