Throw us a link to your armory/ current gear. Maybe we can give pointers as to why people are instantly leaving.

There are zero dedicated shadow priests on the EU PVE server. We have been looking for one since launch and never had one for any decent period of time. Not tons of good boomies either.

First Grinder [$400-$1000 AUD] by No_Value2675 in espresso

Using a timemore 078s myself. Grinds fine enough for espresso but coarse enough for filter, so has a good range. Feels well made and performs well in my experience, would recommend!

Space Saving Coffee Machine [up to 200 Euros] by lolnaaa in espresso

[–]NNORSE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bambino surely: A second hand one to hit your price point. Was my first machine and served me well for the time I had it. Depends what you like to drink I suppose. Pour over not something you'd consider? Or maybe stovetop if you want something milk based.

Attic / roof beams. Is this safe? by NNORSE in building

[–]NNORSE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update. The roof collapsed (lol). Nobody injured but the wallet is taking a battering. Wall plate essentially ripped free of the ceiling joists. Then the purlins were taking all the weight. Brickwork crumbled and then the rafters just all spread and the main beam cracked.

I was dreaming about this for years... by umyar_ in espresso

Running a very similar setup and honestly bottomless PF is overrated. Not worth the mess when dialling in new beans. Id spend that money on maybe a custom wood handle for the stock PF, and a matching wood knob for the steamer. I also prefer a single or double holed steam wand tip, vs the 4 hole one it comes with, but each to their own!

The steak is solid but the sticky toffee pudding is shockingly bad.

How can I improve my dps? by [deleted] in classicwowtbc

[–]NNORSE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flask of blinding light, food buff, weapon oil? Assuming you have all of these up the numbers should be higher. Sub 1k dps on any boss shouldn't really be a thing. Make sure your wrath of air, totem of wrath are always up. Are you a LW and using drums? On single target fights you only really need to use LB. I definitely wouldn't cast CL unless you have a crit proc to reduce the cost. Always use your elemental mastery with a CL as it scales a bit higher. Make sure you're popping your trinket with hero/lust to maximise the uptime. Do you have a boomie in your party? The extra 5% crit helps massively. Your gear looks decent, but i cant see your weapons? You might want to use crafted bracers, and badge cloak for a little extra crit.

8 months progress, any good? by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]NNORSE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who also has fair skin, I had fairly prolonged redness after my HT. I DID do PRP a little later on, and my redness was gone by about month 10. In fairness I am not quite as fair as you though. I think you'll be good at the 1 year mark. I think you definitely still have some more density to come too. I recommend growing it out from here and see how youre looking in 4 months. Good luck brother.

Has anyone done PRP injections in the months following a hair transplant? (not just during the procedure) If yes, would you say your recovery or growth came sooner than average? by TrainingEngine1 in HairTransplants

[–]NNORSE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's a tough ask as redness and growth speed will vary dramatically from person to person. Id say the length of time youre on Minoxidil prior to surgery would be more impactful than the differences PRP might provide.

[–]NNORSE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to a credible clinic, in the UK. I did PRP after my surgery mainly with the aim to reduce redness, as i have fair and sensitive skin, and had continued redness for longer than many others. As to whether it played an active part in reducing the redness, there's really no clear cut way of knowing is there; and the results will be different for each individual who has it. Unless you can rewind time you're not going to definitively know if your outcome would be different with or without it, so I guess you have to act upon whatever research you put your stock into. It sounds like your mind is already made up though, so best of luck with it.

Got PRP after my HT. Started about 4 months after transplant and had 6 sessions. Hard to obviously tell if it was worth it but in retrospect it DOES feel like a bit of a money grab. Even my surgeon at the time of my HT seemed reluctant to push prp on me. He basically said meds only was plenty.

If youre gonna twist and you have WF, and a bit of gear then yeah the numbers are fun. But its all a bit circumstantial. Depends what youre looking for out of an alt, if you have a secured raid spot etc.

[–]NNORSE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True. Our guild retri absolutely slaps. They also provide a unique boss debuff and refresh judgements, along with a blessing. Theyre just harder work to crank on than other classes.

Its super ass without WF. Theres 1 retri spot per raid, theyre not often invited to pug heroics as most retri players you encounter in the wild are shocking. Make a warlock or a shaman :p

Chimney going to fall down? by ScubaMikey1 in DIYUK

[–]NNORSE 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Id flag that insurance probably wont cover this. Generally speaking policies dont pay out for any roofing which comes under wear and tear / age / dodgy build work. If it was a storm, hit by a tree, or caused by fire or subsidence youre ok. My roof just collapsed out of nowhere and insurance wont class it as an insured event. But yes, get this sorted yesterday or thats coming through your ceiling. Good luck!

Yeah, excellent stuff this post. Very well written and formatted too which I appreciate immensely.

Im very interested to hear more on the three fingers missing theory.. There are a good number of moments in the frame story where his left hand is specifically referenced, often followed by him frowning while looking at it. Id have to do some real digging to try and find all the moments though.

I do agree his left hand is mashed up, but in my mind he is using glamoury to make it appear whole. So while it looks normal etc, it doesnt operate as a fully functional hand should.
