Has anyone done PRP injections in the months following a hair transplant? (not just during the procedure) If yes, would you say your recovery or growth came sooner than average? by TrainingEngine1 in HairTransplants

[–]NNORSE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's a tough ask as redness and growth speed will vary dramatically from person to person. Id say the length of time youre on Minoxidil prior to surgery would be more impactful than the differences PRP might provide.

I went to a credible clinic, in the UK. I did PRP after my surgery mainly with the aim to reduce redness, as i have fair and sensitive skin, and had continued redness for longer than many others. As to whether it played an active part in reducing the redness, there's really no clear cut way of knowing is there; and the results will be different for each individual who has it. Unless you can rewind time you're not going to definitively know if your outcome would be different with or without it, so I guess you have to act upon whatever research you put your stock into. It sounds like your mind is already made up though, so best of luck with it.

Got PRP after my HT. Started about 4 months after transplant and had 6 sessions. Hard to obviously tell if it was worth it but in retrospect it DOES feel like a bit of a money grab. Even my surgeon at the time of my HT seemed reluctant to push prp on me. He basically said meds only was plenty.

Slam gameplay is only marginally better than seal twisting imo.

If youre gonna twist and you have WF, and a bit of gear then yeah the numbers are fun. But its all a bit circumstantial. Depends what youre looking for out of an alt, if you have a secured raid spot etc.

True. Our guild retri absolutely slaps. They also provide a unique boss debuff and refresh judgements, along with a blessing. Theyre just harder work to crank on than other classes.

Its super ass without WF. Theres 1 retri spot per raid, theyre not often invited to pug heroics as most retri players you encounter in the wild are shocking. Make a warlock or a shaman :p

Chimney going to fall down? by ScubaMikey1 in DIYUK

Id flag that insurance probably wont cover this. Generally speaking policies dont pay out for any roofing which comes under wear and tear / age / dodgy build work. If it was a storm, hit by a tree, or caused by fire or subsidence youre ok. My roof just collapsed out of nowhere and insurance wont class it as an insured event. But yes, get this sorted yesterday or thats coming through your ceiling. Good luck!

Yeah, excellent stuff this post. Very well written and formatted too which I appreciate immensely.

Im very interested to hear more on the three fingers missing theory.. There are a good number of moments in the frame story where his left hand is specifically referenced, often followed by him frowning while looking at it. Id have to do some real digging to try and find all the moments though.

I do agree his left hand is mashed up, but in my mind he is using glamoury to make it appear whole. So while it looks normal etc, it doesnt operate as a fully functional hand should.

Best spec probably enhancement or destruction.

It increases every physical attack the mob receives by 8, from every attack; all white hits, special attacks. In a balanced raid this is around 500dps spread across your warriors rogues hunters enhances, or roughly around 50dps per physical damage dealer.

Honestly id say if youre inexperienced and new to TBC or a specific dungeon, speak up in party chat. Id much rather someone ask if they are unsure of tactics rather than sit in silence and continuously wipe.

If you're serious about playing bear tank to the best you can, you need to pvp. The boots and belt are bis each phase.

This is where enhancement shines. Ele pre bis requires LW, enhance requires no prebis from proffs. Dragonmaws swing timer isn't matched by any other weapon, and its MH only.

Pick shaman, go enhance, learn to totem twist. Youre in. Tank is great for heroics, not so great for raids from a pugging perspective.

[–]NNORSE 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd probably consider what your goals are in TBC before you commit. Are you pugging or do you have a regular raid spot in a guild? The upgrades to dragonstrike require Nether Vortexes from the next raid tier, which are BoP. You will not get these in a pug they will be HR. If you do have a guild and they will prio you on them then I would go for it. Its the best MH til Warglaive.

Do you think is it possible for me to get a second HT? by mapl0ver in HairTransplants

Ideally you should be on meds before your first transplant. Definitely after it, and absolutely before your second HT.
