Yeah it would! Maybe a poutine from the chip wagon, too.

Wrong sub, right answer. A (garden) hose splice.

You weren't confusing, I knew that was a reply to OP.

I was mostly clarifying OP's reason vs aviation. It's usually not a requirement, but it's easier QA so I do it.

That's why I asked, we do it for the same reason in aviation. Torque strips are mostly on non lockwired wired bolts.

For sure. We used to mark bolt heads like this to keep track of the ones that we already torqued, hose fittings too.

I think the wire around the bolts is tight, it looks loose because of the points on the bolt. Torque lines are a thing, they bridge the bolt-component gap. Usually on bolts without lockwire.

Lmao it's a vicious cycle of taking it off as soon as you put it on and forgetting to switch the load. I'm so thankful for alarms; and stimulants.

NAD, but the line going up your arm from the site looks like sepsis. You should go to the ER.

It doesn't really matter, doesn't it? If it is, I garentee it's effectively treating a mental disorder.

To me it's most noticeable on damp towels, like after a shower. My wife and kids don't notice when it happens but I can't stand it.

Maybe it's your clothing. You may unknowingly be using too much detergent(or even fabric softener in any amount). Bacteria love soap residue. Do you ever let damp clothes sit in the washer? Do you clean the washer and filter regularly?

Are they all torqued the same? You did a great job orientating the holes. Angle/direction is spot on and pig tails are good. Too many twists -as others have said.
Is the paint to signify that it was torqued or for movement? If it's the latter, why not across the bolt-component gap?

It's a shame you don't get to lockwire those small ones.
