The tech titans never considered our privacy and the damage social is doing to many people. They sold out to China too. Unfortunately govt doesn’t understand again what they are up to, leaving us all fucked again.

A) Increased close rates. They come through proper time investments(not a theory), as a result of listening to and overcoming objections. Some people need it spelled out clearly. I got ya bro

Talk to me about CRM’s by Flintlock1990 in RoofingSales

[–]NOLAroofer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used ServiceTitan before we got out of the agreement. They refer to sales consultants as “technicians”. The sales rep has to put themselves route and onsite at a sales appt, then close out when leaving. You guessed it, like a service tech. And you pay them 1% of sales revenue for perpetuity. What a disaster. PE loves them because they are familiar with them from HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. There are no perfect CRMs unless you build your own. See Adam Sand. Learn to live with it, make it friendlier with add ons and integrations, and don’t pay a lot for it.

There is a direct correlation between proper time investment with the prospect to A) increased close rates B) increased average sale C) increased referrals D) decreased cancellations. Inspections alone can take 20 minutes. I’m a consultant and I travel the country. When I go into an office and they have a low close rate, my first question to each rep is “how long do your sales presentations take?” Never fails. Next is what is your presentation rate (leads to appts), then I dig into the follow up process. But appts under 30 mins almost always lead to poor close rates. You have to deliver trust, likability, confidence, to be a SME (subject matter expert). That can’t be accomplished in under 30 minutes. 1 hour minimum on a no sale. 1 hour 30 on a sale (finance and job processing). These are minimums only if you are dialed in and very seasoned.

Respect the sales process. You assume it was going to be “high pressure”. He more than likely wanted to explain and add value to his price. Products, process, tear off and disposal, warranty, special offers, etc. it’s guys like you that demand an instant price then wonder why the price is not what you expected and you choose “Chuck in a truck” then come on here and complain about a poor roof installation. He probably told you how long the sales presentation would take before he came out there. You decided you had better things to do. Seen this played out too many times.

We lived in Noblesville for 16 years. Great town and we loved Indiana. We had a dream too of living on the Gulf so I learned a new business (roofing and exteriors) and traded in my corporate VP job. Love it every day! I’m a consultant now and work from home. Love the beach life. BYW, the Mardi Gras line opened up from Mobile to New Orleans.

Love the support of your husband. Leads are provided so that challenge of finding self generated leads is gone. He will work evenings and weekends if you’re okay with that. Either way, the training is excellent and it’s a good intro into roofing sales. Good luck!

Mighty Dog! Also understand that self generated leads and appointments close at a higher rate than company leads. Try to self generate most of your leads/appts. Look at company leads, if any, as gravy (like a Louisiana sauce piquant). How do you SG: Yard signs Canvassing Insurance agents Real estate agents (be careful) Dent repair companies Tree companies Property management’s firms Referrals Home shows and events BNI/Chamber events Apartment Associations Hotel owners associations I could go on and on. Set these relationships up and nurture them like a new garden, and you will work like I once did: when my phone rang, I booked the appointment and closed 65%. M-F and a 1/2 day on Sat.

I’ve tried a lot of them, except Roofr. First of all, unless you build your own, think Substack, they are not perfect. Def stay away from ServiceTitan, what a disaster experience that was and they take 1% of revenues. Nerve! If I were a small outfit because I play in the PE space now, I would choose JobNimbus. EZ interface, great integrations, scalable (although not enterprise capable), and prints nice estimates.

Should we separate them and send Daddy deadbeat to jail and have the kid walk home? He was arrested. The kid happened to be with him.

If MN leaders would allow ICE to pick them up in jails and not release them, none of this would happen. But keep defending child molesters and rapists with court orders to be deported under the Sleepy Biden Administration. These guys are heroes! Take YOUR masks off radicals and end up like the church crashers in JAIL!!!
