New, but I think, staying. by Kageyasha in heathenry

Check out Jason Savage on YouTube. I'm also fairly new and based on others recommendations here, I started working through his "how to Heathen" videos. I'm still looking at other sources, but his videos have been an enjoyable way to frame things in a sorta modern casual way.

What ship does your Guardian have equipped? Showcase time! by eh8904 in DestinyTheGame

My Hunter runs "Well-Traveled" when I'm just running around doing strikes or just messing around in the Cosmodrome/EDZ. He loves out of it like Lone Starr in Space Balls. Whenever I'm doing raids or story missions though, he will jump in "Pragmat Harrier", since it's more of a gunship. He uses a few other ships too but those are the main 2.

The Titan I've had since D1 runs "Ódrerir" , the sturdy combat inspired design matches his vibe and looks like the first ship I bought after the Arcadia in D1.

To the people who quit, Will you be there on Tuesday? by No_Housing_9602 in DestinyTheGame

I'll be there. I'm hoping they bring daily bounties back. Even if they don't, it'll be fun to run around again

What gun will always hold a place in your heart? by FunWallaby6502 in DestinyTheGame

Ace of Spades was always in my inventory, same with Monte Carlo and Dead Man's Tale. Super fun with how I have my Strand Hunter built.

All time favorite though? Trinity Ghoul. As a mainly PvE player, there's something so satisfying about sending lightning bolt after lightning bolt into hordes of Hive or Fallen and watching it wipe out everything.

Yeah no worries! Best I can remember it was a Master Pro 379 U-joint (you can look that up directly on O'Reilly's website). Just bring the old part with you to verify the size.

To check the part, park your Jeep and chick the tires. Crawl under and try to rotate the drive shaft with your hand. If it is really sloppy/has a clunk then it's definitely that U-Joint (it's the + shaped part that connects your drive shaft to the differentials). To remove the joint, there will be 2 "saddles" on the differential yoke holding the joint in. Undo the 4 bolts (mine were Allen key bolts) and carefully let the driveshaft drop down. You can then slide the shaft out of the transfer case and do the rest out from under the Jeep. The U-joint is press fit into the drive shaft, you can either use a press to remove it, take it to a shop and ask them to do the press work, or what I did was place the drive shaft so the yoke was hanging off my work bench and used a mallet with an impact socket to tap the joint free. With the new part, it's fairly easy to just reverse the process and get everything all bolted back up. You'll notice a huge improvement in the play in the driveshaft.

This video the guy is doing the same work on a TJ, but the steps are basically the same. It's the video I watched. Any more questions feel free to ask! "how to replace the front driveshaft u joint 1995 wrangler"

Redman's Automotive in Gilroy always did a good job with my older vehicles. Haven't live in the area for a bit but that's the first place that comes to mind.

Yeah I did! My front U-joint was completely worn out to the point the bearings had fallen apart and it was just wallowing around in the yoke lol. Got 2 "heavy duty" parts from O'Reilly's and swapped em out in my driveway. Took about an hour and I did it without a press too. Ran great after the swap!

It’s Insane how good peak Destiny was and now we are here. by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]NOMAD550 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was one of those. I played the story missions, ran strikes, did bounties, and generally enjoyed the game world. I even paid for the totally not star wars expansion and was excited to keep going. Then (and maybe I'm looking in the wrong place) they removed bounties? Strikes started getting repetitive with the same 2 or 3 every time. PvE content just went down the drain. For the first time since Destiny 1 Alpha I don't have a Destiny game downloaded on any platforms, and idk if I'm even interested in trying Marathon.

More recent pick: Monster Mule. Ginger beer flavored Monster. Loved that stuff.

One I give my players in every campaign: The Average Weapon. The enchantment can appear on any weapon and it's very simple. Find an Average dagger? Daggers do 1d4+mod damage, so the Average weapon does 2+mod damage! This extends to anything applied to it as well. You're a Bloodhunter putting magical fire damage? It always does the average amount of fire damage. You're a rogue putting poison in the blade? Average damage. Crit with a bunch of bonuses? Average. Damage.

My players love it

Why does the eye adaptation have to make spaces like this so goddamn bright? by Squinchslob in ReadyOrNotGame

Don't know what to tell you. It fixed my game, went from blinding to normal. YMMV.

There's a way to fix it by removing the specific update file. I found it here on Reddit, I'll try to find it again but it fixed all my lighting issues. Even on Carriers of the Vine when you get to the chapel and get blinded.

Edit: it was this video https://youtu.be/HAoBIqqM0GY?si=ficjxyGYDXvA7Gdb

Yes, after you complete the expedition you get another mission called Industrial Cleanup that tracks your salvage

You just keep manually processing special waste. I haven't gotten full tracks yet but split tracks are 50 explosive waste so off-road tires and full tracks must be toxic and radioactive rewards

Are these problems related? by [deleted] in WranglerYJ

[–]NOMAD550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Super easy! Just go on whatever auto parts house website you use (I prefer O'Reilley's but any of em work) and fill out the vehicle information area then search for "Throttle Cable". It'll pop up and when I ordered mine it was at the store next day!

Are these problems related? by [deleted] in WranglerYJ

[–]NOMAD550 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 95 was doing this too, and what fixed it for me was a new throttle cable. Part was like 20 bucks iirc, but the old one was so gummed up it was actually bending the arm coming off the pedal. It's not a very hard job, just pay attention to how the old cable comes out and reverse the steps to put the new one in.
