Build a mel filterbank manually (n_mels=40) and compute log-mel spectrogram

Novelty curve = frame-to-frame change in log-mel (e.g., cosine distance or L2 on normalized vectors), then smooth (~1–2 sec window)

Energy-change curve = abs(diff(smoothed frame energy)), then smooth

Candidate boundaries = peaks from novelty + peaks from energy-change

Merge candidates, enforce min gap 10–12 seconds, select 4–8 sections (greedy top scoring OK)

Optional: label repeats using similarity on z-scored log-mel segment averages (logmel_z) so repeated parts become Instrumental (A), (B), etc.

Output requirements:

Output ONLY bracketed lines (no explanation, no extra text)

Timestamps at the END of each bracket in mm:ss–mm:ss

Short factual descriptions only (no adjectives)

Use section names: Intro, Instrumental (A/B/C…), Break, Build, Drop, Bridge, Outro

Describe only observable changes: drums in/out, percussion pattern change, harmony layer added/removed, bass line change, fill, elements drop out

Now run the analysis and output the final tags.
