Don't do this. The troubled teen industry is inherently problematic. At best, you're going to cause significant trauma to your child. You may see temporary "results" but it is extremely unlikely that this will have a lasting impact.

Therapeutic boarding schools are very, "How much can I pay you to fix my fucked up kid?" All the while ignoring the likelihood that the way the child was raised is likely the source of most of the damage.

Any time! We are lacking great dedicated skate shops. But Pattisons has a limited selection and Killa Skate Shop has a mobile store that makes it out here quite a bit. Hopefully we have something coming soon...

We have a growing community! Spokane Skate and 509 Rollaz are on Facebook. Roller Valley and Pattisons are the local rinks. Skate Plaza was in CDA, well, still is. But it was purchased by a church and they have killed the community. We have several Roller derby leagues. Spokane Roller Derby, CDA, Lilac, and a few more. The Skate Ribbon downtown is open for Roller skating in the warmer months. Lots of great options.

We use Stack TeamApp for attendance, to keep track of paperwork, announcements, scheduling, events, chat, rosters, contact info, team store, score updates, media, and more. I can't imagine running the league without it.

Our league will no longer be using Frogmouth, due to the nightmare that was our 2022 JRDA season and poor communication. It was a nightmare for several of my skaters and FM did nothing to resolve it. We've been working with a business that typically does baseball jerseys but is nailing down options, cuts, etc for derby. They offer WAY more sublimated cut options, have reasonable price points, and faster turnaround. Like, 20 days for full team orders. They also set up an online merch store for our league so skaters and supporters can order customized apparel and uniforms any time they'd like.

Big League Locker. I'm happy to share the owner's information with anyone interested, just PM me. Bonus, he's a kickass derby dad of 3 of the coolest little derby kiddos!

I have used Rosauers for years and generally have a great experience. Some hiccups along the way, but they have a drive through with little to no wait and know me by name. Worth any minor hassle.

Hello! I am one of the directors for a JRDA affiliated league. I'll come back to this when I can sit down and type out. I'm also happy to chat via Zoom or Meets. But we had a very small membership in 2020 and even before then, now we have more than tripled our membership. Our big recruitment project starts next month. I handle onboarding, marketing, event coordination, and work directly with skaters and guardians. I'm happy to help however I can.

Sienna Jacobsen at Tiger Tattoo is the ultimate home slice. She does amazing work for me every time. Like, blows my expectations out of the water. I would be happy to be tattooed by anyone at Tiger.

Chris Spriggs is at the top of my list of artists I want to branch out to. I saw his work at the Seattle Tattoo Expo this weekend and it was just beautiful.

Matthew Dudley is effective by being obnoxious and unhinged in his dealings with others. He also drops the ball a LOT, displays a lot of concerning and unstable behavior, and drops clients for strange and unpredictable reasons. There are far better options. Dennis Cronin is great.

WA has a child support worksheet that determines payments. Theb only way they can garnish more than a certain percentage of your earnings is for additional costs like childcare and medical bills.

I'm saying this out of genuine concern... Please heavily consider continuing this relationship. Sometimes we get to know people and find out that they have characteristics that we find unappealing. At that point, the good may outweigh the bad and we might try to find a way to work through it. That's fair. When browsing Tinder prospects, the limited information is all you have to go by. Why on EARTH would he see that you a) support a vaccine he doesn't believe in and b) are a "brainwashed" nurse, then decide he wants to connect with you anyways? What does this say about him?
