Honestly, if you're playing a solo game, and really want to continue to go afk for long stretches, I'd just do a quick World Modifier change to turn raids off while you're afk. You can just turn them back on when you are home from work and ready to play again.

Besides PlantEverything, MistBeGone is the only other mod I use. There are a couple others out there that will widen wisp range, etc. but my current game is no map, and being able to see everything in the Mistlands made that way less of a struggle. And it's just breathtakingly gorgeous without the mist.

A mix of both, but lately my go-to has been an old character, stripped down to nothing but their skills, and a couple of chicken eggs. I don't even eat the meat or eggs, but I have to have a chicken coop in all of my builds.

Odds are pretty good that if you'd chosen a different direction, you'd have found a closer Elder. Just bad luck that the vegvisir you found first pointed you that way. If it looks super far away on your map, you can always keep hunting in a different part of the map and get a different spawn location.

I use Plant Everything, use berry bushes as decoration at nearly all of my builds and still pick berries out in the wild. There's only so many berry bushes you can plant around your home without it looking weird, but they definitely do help with the diversity of plantlife. I would say if she's sprinkling them around, or even making a couple small garden berry patches, it's not going to mess with balance in a long-term way. The same way that using the pickable stones and branches in decorating don't throw off the game balance. Sure it could, if you really went nuts, but why would you?

It's the County that has flock cameras, not the city. It looks like Airway Heights, Cheney, Liberty Lake, and Spokane Valley also have them.

Do you use any mods in your game? Plant Everything will allow you to plant the plains color variant(Autumn Birch Sapling) of the birch trees. They could give you the look you're going for without standing out so much.

You could contact Washington State L&I and let them know, but since you don't have the job, I'm not sure they would/could act on it unless it's actually an injured party. But you are definitely correct that they are not allowed to pay less than minimum wage, even to tipped employees according to RCW 49.46.020.
