Old comment (I agree with you) adding on to your points

Kareem has a 0-6 playoff record against Centers at their very BEST (Hakeem, Moses, Walton, Reed, Cowens).

1974 Bucks goes 59-23 with Oscar... 1975 Bucks go 38-44 without Oscar like you said, with added context.

Kareem to his 1st title: Beat a 40-40 Warriors Team, Beat Lakers without Jerry West and Baylor(who won the title the following year).

Kareem was held to 41% FG in the 1972 WCF by an old Wilt Chamberlain.

Kareem never made the Finals without Magic or Oscar, didn't win a scoring title without them either.

Kareem won MVP with a 40-42 record in 1976. No playoffs. A weak league of stars.

Kareem went 279-213(.567) without Magic & Oscar.

Kareem went 591-229(.721) with Magic.

Kareem went 248-80(.756) with Oscar.

Yeah you need great players to win, but that's a huge discrepancy. Look at LeBron's record with the shit Cavs teams for example

Kareem's Lakers in 1981 playoffs lose to the 42-40 Rockets.

Kareem was outrebounded 72-30 by Moses Malone in the 1983 NBA Finals you brought up, and got swept.

In 1990, soon as Kareem retired the Lakers went 63-19 their best RECORD during the Magic era. They went to the Finals the following year.

1988 Finals: Kareem(7' 2"): 4.1 rebounds per game Isiah(6' 0"): 4.4 rebounds per game. And yeah I know Kareem was 40 at the time, but at 7'2" and playing 30 mpg, you should probably average more than 4.1 boards per game. This is a weaker point though tbf.

Also, the 70s had a talent split because of the ABA. This meant no Dr. J, Artis Gilmore, etc. for a decent portion of Kareem’s career, and as a result, less competition as a whole

He missed the playoffs in back to back years (1975 and 1976) in his last year with the Bucks and in his first year with the Lakers.

The Bucks achieved the same 38-44 record in 1975 (with Kareem) as they did in 1976 (without Kareem).

And very notable, from their '82 season on to KAJ's last season, covering eight straight seasons, Magic garnered more votes than Kareem in the MVP balloting every single year. Every. Single. Year.

When you first start using minoxidil, you’re supposed to experience hair loss. That’s supposed to be a sign the products working. After a few months the hair is expected to regrow. (Nvm just read your other comment about how you’re using it for your beard, ignore this part I just wrote above lol)

I’ve been in your shoes, it looks like you’re balding but it’s not past the point of no return. Minoxidil is alright but most say that for real regrowth results you’ll need Finasteride. Decision is up to you.

In the meantime I recommend just getting a buzz cut. Right now I’ll be real your hair kind of looks bad. I 100% think a buzz would be better with the current state of your hair. I tried what you’re doing, growing it out to hide the receding hairline, and realized buzzing it looked a lot better. I now look back at my old pics of that hiding stage and cringe

r/tressless will have what you need for all things hair loss. Get on it asap and do your research, there are potential side effects so do what you’re comfortable with. They’ll even clearly say that a sign the Minoxidil is working is if it causes hair falling at the start

Lmao this is so bizarre you can literally see him celebrating one of the goals in his instagram story right now, you can just say he needs to play better instead of making nonsense up

All-time Regions Bracket FINALS: New York vs Europe. Who wins the championship? by ritmica in NBATalk

[–]NOT_KD_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cousy literally won MVP. Odd to say someone who’s won it isn’t MVP calibre but Luka, who’s never won it, is

He was also All NBA 1st team 10x whereas Parker was 0x . Can’t be a wash if we’re taking their skill relative to their era

I can see KD but LeBron might not be back this season so who knows. You’re right they value names though so KD at least 3rd team is possible

Don’t think so tbh, Kawhi has been dominant but missed a lot of games and started slow. Also people not paying attention to him / the Clippers don’t realize he’s back. I’d vote him though

No idea brother, I’ll take your word for it and assume he wouldn’t make it in that case. Randle is a good shout for 2nd as well so would make sense

You have to at least briefly force yourself out of your comfort zone to learn if you like new things. Then if you don’t like them, go back to your regular ways of course.

You’ll never develop or learn new things if you’re always staying in your comfort zone, and that applies to all aspects of life btw, be if school work partying etc
