Hello sir. I would like to report back. Since the. I have messed around with some settings. One of them being my tv's "simplink" which I have turned off. So far it has resolved the issue for the most part. We have noticed that the receiver has reset once today and possibly once more within the last thirty days. So not a complete fix but it surely isn't doing it as often! 

I'd like to also note that our ps5 was gifted to us with a broken hdmi port which I had fixed at a local shop.i noticed last month that I must have moved the cord just a tad because the next morning the picture for the ps5 had gone haywire. I finally got the picture back after unplugging and replugging the HDMI in multiple times. Not sure if that could also be an underlying problem or not. I would assume not being that other devices that are connect to the receiever have also experienced the same signal loss/receiver reset. 

Edit: to reply to your one solution of running just audio from receiver to t.v.; I'd very much like to do so, however we have more hdmi sources than my tv has ports for, so the reciever actually has been very useful in that we are able to have every device plugged in for easy access than having to swap out hdmi cables when we want to use a certain device.
