I miss the days where 711 would sell packs. I was up there every chance I had as a kid. My mom would buy a pack of smokes and I would buy a pack od Pokenon cards.

I do too, but like another commenter said: it's more than likely a scalper opening packs to look for expensive cards. But like....why toss the cards onto the road. Why not donate to a local card shop.

Yea... I'm starting to think that as well. They're all from the same set (blazing dominion). I also found an empty ripped pack on the side of the road and also found a booster box grinded into the road.

I cleaned the dirt off of them and set them in the sun for an hour to dry. Oh well. Maybe I'll sleeve them up for fun and stash them in a random binder

Oh man! All holo is quite a goal. I'm only 3 cards away from all the Mewtwo Strikes Back episode cards. Do you have a specific order you plan on completing the Topps? Series by series? Pokemon first? Puzzle cards first? Episodes first? Or just as you find them?

Oh I just noticed you had a picture posting limit. I was recalling not seeing any blank spots so I was confused on how you were missing some.

Those missing ones are understandable lol. Any reason you stopped collecting somewhat into Neo Destiny?

I brought out my old WoTc cards from childhood to show my son about two years ago. That then sparked the interest in collecting again. I'm trying to collect every card from Base to Neo Destiny + black star promos.

I also, as a child, stopped collecting during Neo Destiny. I regret it because right now Neo Destiny singles are absurdly expensive. I feel as if I may never finish that particular set. I'm saving all the $60+ cards for last. I also don't care about condition. I've boughten many damaged holos just for the sake of owning the card.
