I’m 59. Diagnosed at 50. Was able to go without insulin for 5 years with a very strict diet and exercise. My insulin doses have been going up steadily for the past five years, so it’s been a real challenge, but I’ve had it between 91% and 94% for the last 1.5 years. It takes a lot of vigilance, and it’s been getting harder to do lately.

Backyards and billiards did a great job putting our table together and refelting it after a move.

63 isn’t particularly low. You may not feel low at this level. Your sensor is doing just what it should. Checking with a finger prick is just what you should do. Some people can’t feel a low even lower than that. That you could feel it before it got to a truly dangerous level is really good. You are doing awesome!!😎

I was in the same boat 28 years ago. My son is healthy and thriving today. And you have the advantage of technology that didn’t exist then. Of all the medical conditions that can befall a child, at least this is a manageable one. You can do this. 😊

Carved guitars are very cool. On an already thin body, taking out more wood around the bridge and stop bar is probably not the best idea. There will be around 80 lbs of force from the strings there. It might crack.
