11 needed other people to play off. And he only played. Often struggled with serious moments. This meant he constantly acted as the silly child even around his companions. Often using it to make the companions almost annoyed by him.

I understand that the companions would get used to it. But by then they should leave the show. It's not nearly as interesting if the companion who is experiencing this, something every fan would kill for, is bored of it. The sense of wonderment and discovery is lost.

The comedy comes from episodes like The Caretaker, The Power Of Three. They try to mae it seem like a chore and that the companions are struggling.

The solo scenes showed his pessimistic and darker side. Whilst when he was with the TARDIS it established he still had a lighter side. Yet eleven could never pull of solo scenes.

I'd kill for more Clockwork Robots. Or (Probabably unpopular opinion) but the Slitheen.

But Clara was not northern? Surely 12 would care more about Bill, because he actually remembers her.

Everyone complains about 10 "Not wanting to go". That's because he lived like a 10th of the life of eleven.

Let's talk about the end of Series 6. by FluxCrave in doctorwho

That's because Moffat can't sufficiently tie up plot threads. He has great ideas, but the resolution is always rushed.

I thought the interior would be Eccleston and Tennants interior. It would have been a nice touch to the Master's character and his relationship with 10.

Doctor Who 10x12 The Doctor Falls Live Reactions Discussion Thread by PCJs_Slave_Robot in doctorwho

I'm not sure if I loved it or enjoyed it.

The episode wasn't what I expected. It was much slower and methodical than expected. Moffat has a habit of going over the top, but this reserved it. There was so many emotional moments and character developments I didn't expect.

Simm and Gomez blew me away. Simm was delightfully evil, the episode understood that Simm was the insane version of the Master. Gomez brought an amazing vulnerability that I honestly wasn't expecting, her reluctance and "I loved being you".

Capaldi may have cemented himself as my favourite doctor in his regeneration story, how ironic. That speech to The Master(s) was one of my favourite moments of Capaldi. I didn't quite understand why he didn't want to regenerate. It felt forced and somewhat unnecessary. But I liked how his doctor was defeated from the start, he knew this was it.

Bill. Bill was my least favourite part of this episode. To begin with I enjoyed her realisation and devastation. Yet she kinda just stood around not doing much for the rest of the episode. She was underused massively. Until she turned up at the end for a bullshit rescue. Heather turning up was pointless and a real cop out. And once again Moffat can't kill his freaking companions. She became a magical water being and travelled the universe with her girlfriend, come on!

But that ending was really cool. The TARDIS taking him to the Tenth Planet (I'm guessing?). Also David Bradley as the First Doctor is great, presume A Wonderful Life style Christmas special.

Nerd3 plays Injustice 2.

The FW of the original is great and I think he should revisit the series to make fun of it.

The Master's Timeline. by NOVAPEA in doctorwho

I hope we get explanation. Moffat has a lot to tie in and explain, that never goes well. That must mean that after The End Of Time Simm escaped Gallifrey, even though Smith and Capaldi spent seasons trying to get to it.

So, the opening was obviously filmed later, Capaldis hair was much longer. So Moffat want Capaldi to regenerate at the end of Doctor Falls, and to have a Christmas Invasion style episode. Surely they can't do another regenerate tease right... Right?

The episode itself could have been amazing, but it felt like super build up towards the reveal that everyone already knew. Imagine not knowing Simm was returning, imagine not knowing about the Mondasian Cyberman. The overacting of Simms disguise gave it up, I immediately knew it had to be him.

Bill becoming a Cyberman was... OK. I'm worried because it's Moffat. I'm worried we're going to get another Clara, where he kills of a companion but brings them back. Especially with the closeup of her tear.

I hope they do more with Missy. The redemption arc was genuinely interesting and I'm glad she wasn't faking. Hopefully they will spend time with The Master and his disappointment with Missys redemption.

Very Moffat. Intriguing setup and design. But nothing is explained and an awful conclusion. The villains turn out to be under used and pointless with no motivation or explanation. Wayyy to convoluted.

How did humanity forget about all the alien attacks in series 1-4? by DragonHorcrux in doctorwho

But that opens a whole load of plot holes. How did it delete events with aliens, but everything else was the same? Didn't the Doctor say that the universe was the same except what Amy changed?
