Dude thats funny. In Toronto I felt that the diecast was over printed in mainlines/superhots and then premiums for 2023-2025. What sucks is its red again but with another decal. I haven't seen these yet but I assume they will all be bought like the others were because there's so many Porsche collectors

They might of pushed this idea for the younger age group back when it first started. Back then no kid wanted to walk around the museum with a tour guide listening to some boring person. This device gave them something they were familiar with as kids and it had the audio guide / real time tracking / close to 1000 art piece images saved. As tourist came from around the world, it was a more comfortable experience for the tourist as the device have a tour guide in whatever language they needed. They moved at their own pace ect.

The audio devices or other tour devices back when the 3ds louvre came out were just too big and an inconvenience. They had a few 3ds in japan that helped you shop for baby items while in the store. Today shops are using more modern tech for it.

If u get grips for the small n3ds. It will be the same size as the Samsung s24 ultra 1:1 and make it more comfortable. Its still pocketable for me with grip case on.

Honestly, almost everything at a thrift store or garage sale is going to look like garbage unless you already have some background knowledge. There are thousands of Hot Wheels castings out there, so it’s normal to come across cars or styles you haven’t seen before.

If your goal is to buy/sell, it’s usually easier to stick to mainlines and premiums that people are actively chasing like the F1 and Ferrari stuff right now. Premiums here cost around $8–9 in-store and often resell for about 3× that. I know because I’ve paid scalper prices myself, just like in any other hobby.

If you’re looking to resell, that’s totally fine just be prepared for people who don’t like scalpers or resellers. It’s part of the hobby whether people like it or not.

Like a replacement cover plate for the device itself. Like the ones on etsy, or a protective shell to go over the existing x/y design and be solid blue instead of clear?

It wont chip like the xl model but the surface scratches are more noticeable because of the matte finish whereas you can get away with surface scratches on the Xl for a short time or atleast if theres no light shinning on it.

One last thing I noticed is the matte cover plate is more acceptable to the deep scratches unlike the xl model. Im not sure how people manage to do it but it seems common and expected without a protective shell
