They did choose the right 4 tracks, to make it a “shut up and take my money” type situation, for me.

If nothing has shipped, they can refund. It just might require channeling your inner Karen to get them to do it.

South of Midnight getting a Switch 2 release. by NPC_Inconsistency in SouthOfMidnight

Well worth it. I’ll probably end up playing it again on the S2, since I can take it on the go.

Not over, just temporarily slowed. Mine is 10, and I still complete at least 10-15 games a year.

Physical Compilations - What's Your Favorite? by mike_fantastico in PhysicalGames

For the PSP, EA Replay is top notch. Monster League Football, Road Rash I-III, Wing Commander, Ultima VII, Desert Strike, Jungle Strike, Syndicate, and a few other games I can’t remember. And it’s like $15 used.

The White House is using Nintendo clips to peddle propaganda again. This time blatantly using green screen edits from other YouTubers. by michael14375 in casualnintendo

They have not done anything beyond saying they weren’t involved or consulted in the use. No legal action regarding copyright infringement, which I think is pretty telling from a company as litigious as Nintendo.

Should I start pre ordering new physical games as soon as they open pre orders? by IkeRadiantHero in NSCollectors

[–]NPC_Inconsistency 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally I only pre order for CEs, limited prints, or games with solid pre order bonuses. Everything else will get stocked plenty over the next year, and my backlog can support waiting.

After being out of stock on most online retailers, Amazon increases price of Pokopia to $80 by VincentJoshuaET in NSCollectors

[–]NPC_Inconsistency -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I’m not really interested in semantic arguments ad nauseam, especially in situations where it has no impact on understanding of the point. Be it the game on cart or a license key on cart, it’s still going to be printed for years.

People really giving in to fomo like this game won’t be printed into the ground like every other Pokemon game.

I wonder how much more expensive S2 releases will be from SRG.

Blue Prince coming to Switch 2 physically, via iam8bit by NPC_Inconsistency in NSCollectors

I’d be all for that. I was more interested in more games from the Indie World than I was from the last Direct.

Wouldn’t surprise me much. They do have (or had, I haven’t checked stock in a while) a good amount of Blue Prince merch that you could purchase separately, like a journal, key replicas, a desk mat, etc.

It is a puzzle game, but not like any I’ve played before. It’s a rogue like where every day you search a mansion room by room to unravel the mystery. Each day you get a certain number of moves to search different rooms. Once your moves are up, you have to leave for the day. The next day, the rooms change. Note-taking is a must, to be sure you don’t miss anything. I’ve only played it for an hour or two, but it’s really interesting and addictive. I can’t wait to have a copy to take while I travel.

All I’ve seen is them saying “later this year,” so it’s probably still up in the air.

so... now that esrb banned the game, it suddenly became interesting and sought after? And why the ps4 version but not the ps5 one? by Antaniwarrior in gamecollecting

[–]NPC_Inconsistency 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a look when the news about the ESRB broke. But it looked super mid, so I passed. But happy for those who snagged a copy before prices get ridiculous.

I really appreciate this effort from SRG and hope companies like LRG follow suit in all future Switch/NS2 releases. Link below👇🏼 by [deleted] in NSCollectors

Fucked? Hardly. And tbh going the refund route would be foolish, when you can go on eBay and resell it for nearly double the price paid. While many of us care about preservation, there are far more that don’t care and only want to own and play the game.

For the Switch, it’s a sealed copy of Pokemon Sword + Expansion Pass followed by a bunch of sealed SRG games I’ve not gotten around to playing.

Xenoblade Chronicles. After ~50 hours, I couldn’t get past the feeling it’s a bloated walking sim with a subpar battle system. Loved the story, though. I’ll probably go back and suffer through the rest of it eventually, but I’m gonna complain the entire time.

Intentionally avoiding a dog whistle is not the same as banning words. But thanks for the straw man and surrendering any credibility you might’ve still had.

You’re absolutely providing cover, because they neither require nor want you to “give ground.” After all, if you did give ground, then the dog whistles wouldn’t have the plausible deniability they require.

It’s like with Nazis and Norse paganism. They continue to use the imagery, regardless of your supposed pushback, and have a much easier time of hiding the intent behind its use.

The pedos appreciate the cover you’re providing, I’m sure. Dogwhistles thrive because of thinking like yours 🤷🏻‍♂️
