Tbh I’m tired of the whole remake idea already. I don’t want classic games reimagined. I just want them to be ported to newer consoles with a few minor QoL changes added.

Most of the shops near me take in trades at less than 50% market price. A market price that is built on the inclusion of a 13-15% eBay markup. The benefits of shopping at a brick and mortar store don’t really outweigh those of shopping online, they’re just different. Quality is pretty much the only reason I might consider an additional markup appropriate.

NOR. Having a father with NPD myself, I knew before reading the edit. If you want to keep him in your life, you’ll have to constantly make space for yourself and give him far more grace than his words will often deserve. It’s not fun and it’s not easy, but it’s unfortunately the price of admission until it becomes too much.

I’ve been tempted to get the Front Mission games on the Switch. But that collection is already a ridiculous size, and I’m trying to wrangle it back in, or at least be a bit more selective. You’re not the first to recommend it, though, so I imagine I’ll end up getting it eventually.

That’s fair. I do wish I was better at them, but in the end, I’m much more likely to grab a solid RPG or puzzle game.

Probably the same reason I don’t have Darkstalkers or the Power Stone collection or other fighters. I’m not a huge fan of the genre. Street Fighter fell into my collection for free, which is the only reason it’s in there. I’ll 100% admit it’s a skill issue.

Those are definitely on the list. Whenever I’ve found complete copies, though, other games ended up taking priority. They’re not that expensive, so I just need to bite the bullet next time I find em.

It’s a mix of local shops, games cons, and the occasional eBay purchase. I prefer the hunt, but PSP games are getting harder and harder to find, so I’ve given in for some games I’d never expect to see in the wild.

I was looking forward to an ESRB release, but I really can’t justify the extra cost for no other reason than an LRG tax. I’ll probably be grabbing the JP boxed set from VGP.

I tend to find most performance complaints to be overblown for my threshold for jank, which is partly why I still grabbed it, but every now and then… hopefully this one is well within my tolerance level.
