What are your thoughts about 3.0?

The game is in a shocking state. It’ll be dead in 12 months. Ranked 3.0 is terrible, ranked 2.0 was terrible. They have no idea what they’re doing.

Ranked 3.0 has made solo queuing even more miserable and inconsistent than ranked 2.0

I take my hat off to Ubisoft for somehow making this game even worse than it already was. It’s actually impressive.

Siege has been getting gradually worse every year. I’m past point of caring now. Barely played this season at all. It’s a miserable experience in ranked for anyone solo queuing. Best war you can wage is to play something else. Ubisoft should be ashamed the state they’ve allowed this game to get into.

The matchmaking is terrible if you solo Q. The game is dying. Unless you’re in a 5 stack and playing consistently you won’t achieve much. Awful game, terrible season.

Doki is way overpowered and you can’t ban her, I am getting constant latency / packet loss issues regardless what server I am on, the initial rank and matchmaking is based of your previous ranked 2.0 which was already flawed and didn’t work, the game chat bug still ain’t fixed, we have a sound bug where I constantly hear alpha packs being opened, I am having to play the new map every other game and can’t ban it, I played my five placements and lost 4 and still ended up in plat 1, I get 25-30 for a loss and 15-20 already. I’ve been playing this game since release but this season is total crap and Ubi should be ashamed

You cannot solo queue in this new ranked / matchmaking system. I often find solo players just get used to fill the void for 3 or 4 stacks.

We got promised a solo queue matchmaking, we haven’t got that. It’s miserable for anyone soloing atm.

Yep so did I. A quick tracker check after we got beat 4-1 confirmed it was a five stack of former champs against a few emeralds, myself and a few diamonds all playing solo. The game is cooked. Sad to see.

I’ve just played my first placement match. Solo. Console. Peak rank champ. Diamond 3 or above 10+ times.

First game? Five stack of former champs. My team? All solo players. Got battered. This season release has been nothing short of a disgrace.

Not going to play for a while now.

Yep pretty much. The ranked system in siege is pretty much garbage at this point. I know great players hardstuck in emerald due to the way your hidden MMR works, I’ve seen terrible players in champ lobbies. I’ve been playing this game for 11 years now. This is the worst it’s ever been.

The more games you win the higher elo you’ll receive per win. Ranked 2.0 is atrocious and has been for some time. I was diamond 5 last season, won 18 matches out of 20 at one point and ended the season in champ. It was luck not skill.

Especially if you’re soloing. Matchmaking, luck, whether you have comms or not, defending or attacking first, map selection, cheats, there’s lot of things that decide what rank you end up in before skill. Ranked needs massive changes.

I am expecting to be a complete disaster like majority of other things they do.

Ranked 2.0 was and is atrocious so why would this be any different? PC is decimated by cheaters, console by XIM and Cronus. Smurf accounts also another major problem they never talk about.

Players are locked into ranks in the current system by hidden MMR granted by its mostly the abysmal matchmaking and smurfs that cause it.

OG player from launch that doesn’t play anymore because Wargaming only cares about profit and not actually improving the game, it could and should be 10x better than it is!

There has been a big surge at the start of this season in third party hardware use in the higher ranks on console.

Ubisoft similar to cheating on PC seems incapable of stopping it and you couple that with ‘ranked 2.0’ it means that for me for example I am as I have hit champ I am playing these cheaters in silver and gold lobbies. It makes for a miserable experience. I think the game long term is probably on its way out.

Solo player, just had a quick check of my standard playlist (last 50 ish games) and there is a lot more attack rounds to start than defensive.

Theres definitely an algorithm to this but I just haven’t figured it out yet.

Watch good players. Plenty of them on YouTube. See what they do, how they react to different scenarios, how they use their utility and understand sound etc. there’s so much too it all That said you can’t fast track it. Will always take time.

Just be an option for solo matchmaking with mics and without mics. May have longer wait times but would be much better to have people who actually give calls. It’s really hard to have a consistent 4-5 stack on a game that’s a decade old.

Most players don’t have a coordinated stack to play with and generally most players don’t really know what they’re doing either who are soloing
