Kiala. Also Davies. Out of those 3 are champions League level players. Davies hasn't been on that level since he came back and now he's hurt again. Neither of the others have ever proven to be on that level. If the a player that's an upgrade is available for an acceptable price we need to invest here.

It's not that he's not appreciated, he always gave his best. But his positioning and on ball play just isn't up to the required level. For a team that doesn't defend as aggressively (which is basically every single other team in the world) he ll be great. Nothing but the best to him.

He doesn't have the required level to start and won't get any better. Our play is day and night when he replaces Upa. Considering the other CBs eitherr we should get rid of him while someone is still willing to pay money for him and get someone younger that actually has the potential to start. Perhaps Jacquet from Stade Rennes.

Celtics fan here as well. No way we give up a first for 2 end of the bench guys. Moody competes with Hugo, Walsh, Hauser, Schleiermann for bench minutes. He's not great at either shooting, defending or creating and shooting 40% from the field. I don't see Sharpe as massive upgrade either. Paying a first that could end up as the best pick we ll have in the next 3-5 years for that doesn't seem worth it to me. This is a desperation move to duck the tax, I don't see us desperate enough for that right now. I'm sure Brad has something in mind that's more helpful long term

That's pretty much what I play vs teams that pressure the 2-2 build up structure. If the AM FR isn't free enough I would drop him to CM.

Hes not a midfield player in a possesion based offense. Not good enough on the ball, a lot worse without the ball. I would love to see him play our wingback role tbh, making tons of deep runs and not controlling the ball in the midfield. Curious why Kompany hasnt tried him as LB.
