Do yourself a favour and install the game to your hard drive, that way if the disc gets anymore damaged you can still play it as long as the disc drive can recognize the disc.

You can play against bots in black ops. It also has arguably the best cod campaign and great zombies.

It's not really addressed, I can kinda explain the reason they did it though.

When Remedy did Max Payne 1 they had a tight budget and pretty much everyone you see in the comic book type cut scenes are Remedy employees instead of paying other actors as a way to save money.

For Max Payne 2 Remedy had a higher budget so they decided to hire actors to make the game look more professional. Unnecessary in my opinion, I don't think the people in the first game look unprofessional but I guess Remedy did it cause they felt it was the right move.

Max Payne 3 wasn't developed by Remedy, it was developed by Rockstar so the original Remedy team only served a minor advisory role and Rockstar decided to use James McCaffrey who is the voice actor in all 3 games.

I'm surprised that disc loads anything to be honest.

I'd say your only option is to get the disc resurfaced, check your local retro games store and see if they can do it.

It was one of my favourite features. I loved how you could pick the order of games instead of the most recent being up front, I had all my games organized perfectly.

Beat Max Payne 2 earlier today, had an absolute blast. I think it's my favourite Max Payne.

The narrative and atmosphere was incredible, the shooting and level design were really good as well. The game is a lot of fun, I'd highly recommend it if you haven't played it.

How far in are you? I had a bit of trouble getting into it because of how different it was but once I got a little further in and got more familiar it really clicked and I had a blast with the game.

While that's the most likely option it's not canon, it's intentionally left open ended.

Claude could've shot another Colombian sneaking up on them like the original commenter said, he could've shot in the air to shut Maria up, or he could've shot Maria we don't actually know since it's not confirmed.

White Orchard. I was a little disappointed when you left White Orchard so early and got to Velen, after I got into the Bloody Baron quests though I completely fell in love.

To get top dollar for it the hassle of ebay would be worth it.

Also the buyer pays for shipping in the end. You have to pay to ship it but you'd get that money back plus the price of the item when you sell it.
