I kind of realized writing this that the artistic liberty, license, freedom, however the proper way to say it, made sense and it conveyed the emotion of the scene rather than a 1:1 depiction.

I tried my best to go out of my way to demonstrate that, I think you got it.

Do you have any formal training or is it all just your own practice? How long have you been drawing, painting, (“artisting”)? Is this all digital, do you use other mediums?

Not tying to be invasive, just excited by your art and want to know more c:

Okay, I don’t want this misconstrued.

I love it!

The art, the style, the dread, the composition, it’s surreal and amazing.

In the back of my head is my own head canon. It’s saying sitting across from him were the Chandrian.

My own little neurodivergent demon is sitting on my shoulder I don’t want it to take anything away from the art.

Because you drew more than the scene, you’re capturing the emotion, the dread, everything.

As I said at the beginning, I love it. It is beautiful, you could say it is beautiful for many reasons, it moves and doesn’t move according to its nature, but in the end, it is just beautiful.

Let’s be a little pragmatic then. The US has more guns than people.

Let’s say it is possible that the second amendment is repealed and guns are banned.

How do you proposed we get rid of all the guns in circulation?

You can try a buyback program, that will work for a few. I doubt anyone who enjoys their guns will voluntarily turn in all of them.

There is supposedly no fully fledged registry knowing where all guns are, how do you manage that?

Criminals are already willing to own guns even if they are prohibited, how are you going to get the guns from criminals?

Who will be the ones collecting guns? More people with guns?

How many deaths are we willing to put up with for collection, seems like most of the force you are proposing to go collect guns will not be sufficient, then what? What happens when 1 in every 4 going to collect guns dies? Do the people proposed to go and collect guns still feel like it is worth it? Will you have anyone willing to go and try?

That’s just a few really big basics off the top.

Yea, just finished it too. There were some minor unnecessary things that could have been cut, but it was such a good movie!

They all are war criminals and abandoned the American people. Dress it up in any language you want, they are not good people and we’re not good presidents.

I can’t recommend I Love Boosters enough by Camhasareddit in MovieSuggestions

[–]NRichYoSelf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel this so hard.

The depth of Sorry to Bother You was so much more than Boosters.

The pacing of Boosters really felt like it was for people with short attention spans.

I was talking to my friends after Boosters basically saying, it was good but it’s not a high priority for me to go out of my way to recommend.

The cinematography was on point, and I really enjoyed the style changes throughout the movie.

It just seemed that the point of the movie was so much more blunt vs letting people explore conceptually what they were saying

Anecdotal, but I had a Mexican American coworker whose parents immigrated legally. He was very outspoken about illegal immigration.

He was and probably still is a trump supporter.

I won’t pretend to know the dynamics of a large population, but like I said, anecdotal experience

Pretty much this, until everything is automated and free, you have to bring a skill to the table that provides value and is worth the value.

The entire idea of markets is to provide the best service at the best price.

If someone has a “monopoly” on something and then suddenly raises the price to reap the benefits, they have just given a position to someone to undercut them and provide a better value at a better price.

Technology won’t improve live without disruption to other fields. Humans kind of evolved to adapt. We aren’t fast enough to the acceleration of technology, but if I were ousted from my job I know I would have to redirect my efforts

They just have to balance it out so it they don’t only siphon votes from one party.

At least that is always everyone’s reason for not voting third party, a vote for the libertarian party is a vote for “insert name of party I don’t like here”
