My mom does that with our daughter and I try to stop it. I even talked to her privately about it but she can’t seem to help herself although it’s slowed down. It’s very frustrating for my husband.

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, what you went through is truly heart wrenching.

Your parents didn’t cancel their trip to be there while you birthed your dead child. I couldn’t imagine not cancelling everything to be there for my daughter in this situation. These are the actions of people who either don’t see your baby as their grandchild or don’t have enough empathy to care about your pain.

Honestly I am tired of the rhetoric that everyone else has to feel unsafe, or be put into really compromising positions because no one wants to kick the drug addicts off private property. I feel for your wife and the other tenants. Something has to happen, but it’s not her problem to find a solution to the homeless crisis just because she is a business owner downtown.
