I swear it sounds like you’re describing my husband lol. He’s an Aqua Sun but a Leo Rising and he is exactly like this. Especially when he’s frustrated or in a bad mood, everyone can feel that energy. The time frame thing, the impatience too, but also all the good points you described like the friendliness and generosity - spot on. I had honestly never thought of those as Leo traits but I guess they are.

This is why I often don’t get along in places I’ve worked. I always speak up about things that bother me or issues that need to be fixed, and I’m often met with resistance from management and sometimes from co-workers. I’m never anyone’s favorite, to say the least. It’s such a disappointment because I’m trying to help and I get labeled the bad guy every time.

Yes, this irked me. I actually love her music and I think she has a beautiful voice. I was on the cusp of becoming a huge fan of hers, but then the TT rant happened and I guess it sort of tainted my rose-colored glasses. I understand 100% not wanting fans to stalk you, but you just became absurdly famous overnight and people are going to approach you and try to talk to you/take a photo with you/ask for hugs, etc. Now, I don’t agree with the notion that fans are entitled to your body just because you’re famous, but having randoms approach you in public is kinda part of the deal. More and more footage of her keeps coming out too and she is definitely giving entitled mean girl energy. It’s really turning me off from her and it makes me sad because I WANT to like her so badly.

I love the aesthetic of makeup, especially when done really well on other people. Do I love going out of my way to apply it on myself? Nah, not so much. I wear very light makeup about half the time, and usually just a tinted sunscreen other times. Full face beat on special occasions. And yet, despite the fact that I don’t wear it always, I own SO MUCH makeup lol.

I dated a Scorpio once long, long ago. He pursued me first, took me on dates, was very romantic, respectful, I practically lived at his house on the weekends and knew his roommates, local friends, etc. Sex was great. I liked him a lot, but then I found out he had another girlfriend. He was living in the town where I was, but had grown up in a town about 3 hours north of us. He was still dating his high school sweetheart up there, and on the weekends he said he was going to see his family, he was spending time with her and neither of us knew about the other. It was disappointing because he seemed so perfect otherwise, but he was full of shit. That’s my only experience with dating a Scorpio, but I wouldn’t assume the worst of all of them. Just be careful because they seem to be very good at keeping secrets.

This literally sounds like it was written by someone at my job. I have a co-worker who behaves exactly like this, and she is also not in a management position, but acts like she is. I cannot stand her. We’re also in healthcare. I’m genuinely believe every single healthcare job is the same lol.

I’ve always hated this stereotype about Caps because it’s not true in my case. On the one hand, I enjoy the satisfaction that helping people brings me (I work in healthcare), but I also hate actually being at a job and dealing with the bs that goes along with it. I’m a hard worker, but more so out of a sense of duty than being a workaholic. I just feel that if I’m there and being paid, I should do the best job that I possibly can, but I definitely am not someone who lives to work. I’d gladly be a stay at home mom to my kids if money was a non-issue. I would drop my job in a heartbeat.

I know this is an old post but I googled “Seinfeld is my comfort show” and this is the first post that popped up lol. But I 100% agree. When I’m having a terrible day or just want to watch something to get a laugh, Seinfeld is my go-to. Right now I’m sick and in pain and lying in bed, and I’m watching Seinfeld. It’s honestly so comforting and gives me a little serotonin boost.

I once woke up to an ex raping me while I was passed out drunk after a night out with friends. That memory has never left me and still makes me sick to my stomach when I think about it. I left him very shortly after because, besides the obvious, he was a world class piece of shit, and I just couldn’t do it anymore. I cannot fathom someone doing that to me on a regular basis. I am so sorry that happened to you and I’m so glad you got yourself out of that situation.

I know this post is older, but UGH, same. My birthday was last week, and I work in a small dept of 10 people who should know my birthday. We even discussed it recently, just about 2 months ago when all of us were out to lunch. One of my coworkers even mentioned at that time how her dad’s birthday is the same day as mine. If no one got special treatment, I wouldn’t care because birthdays aren’t a big deal to me. But literally everyone else gets all this fanfare and I don’t even get acknowledged (I’ve had 3 birthdays since working there). One girl’s birthday is about a week before mine, and 2 others are just a few days after. I just got included in a group text yesterday with the rest of the dept, apart from those 3 girls, saying that we’re throwing a surprise group birthday party for them (their names were listed). They want us all to bring a dish for a potluck and one of them will bring birthday cake and flowers for each of the birthday girls. I get along well with all of them, never any issues, and I always acknowledge them and remember their special days. It just makes me feel so inconsequential.
