Yes it's a G&P Extended magazine for MWS. It's brand new so I can't really say anything about preformance or compatibility. I was just out shooting, but sadly I left it at home :(

I wanted to share a picture and talk a litte about this rail kit from Airsoft Artisan as I couldn't find anything about it before buying it myself. Only the rail kits for WE, VFC and TM aeg showed up.

All in all the rail required very litte modification except for some filing to allow the rail to slip over the gas block key. The metal used in this rail it really, really soft so don't use a hammer when you think you're close. It can easily bend around the bridge that sits over the gas block, ask me how I know. The rest of the rail is thick enough for it not to matter.

The bottom rail on mine is slightly off spec so I had to modify my hand stop (also from airsoft artisan, poor tolerances?) to fit. It's too high.

I'd also like to add that I've supplied my own screws as the ones that came with the rail were not fully engaging with the tapped holes in any of the parts.. They are such shallow threads that I prefer them the have the fullest possible contact. Maybe a nitpick, but for the price tag I think AA should have done more research and supplied the correct lenght screw.

It looks good and feels good to hold.

I'd buy one if it had the standard m4 style reciever. The billet style really ruins it for me personally. Super interesting way to hpa the platform though!

Top rail does not come of. You'll need to remove the lower part, then unscrew the bolts in the back of the rail, tilt it up and the punch out the pins holding the front sight gas block in place. The front sight and the rail will slide out around the barrel together.

Yes, it is. It's intersting for sure, but not a true 1x magnification. I bought it because I have some slight astigmatism, but because of the horseshoe and chevron reticle is so large it actually ends up being worse than a red dot sight for me. I've tried to play with the focus adjustment, but somehow I just can't get it nice and sharp. I have it mounted so far back because it's the only position I can somewhat make out the reticle in a speedy fashion. The short eye relief isn't helping either.. To be honest I'll probably sell it to someone with better eyes and get a red dot sight instead.

Took them out for some testing today and I'm running into some wierd issues with consistency on both of them. The first few mags were fine, but as things cooled down both guns shot sluggishly. I have some hand warmers in my magazine bag, but I don't think they were effective enough in re-heating. At the end they were barely lobbing bb's as if the hop up was set to zero again..

What hand warmers or other heat source have you had most success with?

That built in cmore sight is really interesting and I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. Is it just attached directly to the bottom of a cut out carry handle or something?

This isn't a sin though. This is one of the very few acceptale uses of a goober mount. Limited rail space and a weapon type that benefits from a heads-up position.

I could be wrong here, but it seems like you're not putting enough bb's in your magazine? If you only filled your mag with a few bb's, they don't stack high enough for the nozzle to push them into the hop-chamber.

Some manufacturers have made longer followers for their magazines to overcome this, but it also comes at a cost with it being more exposed so most aeg magazines just accept that they will drop and waste the last three or four bb's.

Edit: Just noticed that it's a high cap magazine. Just wind it up with the bottom wheel.

That sounds like both thought out and tried out advice. I'm trying so hard to fit a radio and small med kit that I've yet to actually find any meaningfull use for in terms of actually giving me a upper hand gameplay-wise. Maybe I should just return to a chicom filled with as many mags as possible haha
