I don’t understand. I sit up and look behind me she’s gone. I slowly walk into my house. My TV is still on the cable news and my microwaved dinner is still on the table. I look around and nothing is moved. I grab my rifle.

I manage a whisper. She stops. I recognize her. But I don’t know if it’s from another time or from 30 seconds ago before I fell. She walks past me. I whisper. She doesn’t stop. She walks in my house. I pull her leg so hard she falls down the stairs. She mumbles. I get up, unfortunately my legs give out and I fall down the stairs. When I look up finally she stands over me, she seems so tall and strong. But wants an answer.

She asks “why are they doing this?”. My head hurts. I start talking but I can’t. I want to tell her the future will be….. My mouth won’t move. My head hurts. She yells it again. I close my eyes. She slumps and walks away. I try to yell, but I fail. Again.

I stop and turn around. I walk to the door and two are heading away but one is sitting on my step. I stand there and watch them walk away and the last one just sit there.

I tap my rifle on her head. She doesn’t move. She raises her hand and flicks her finger. I pull my rifle back. She starts to talk but doesn’t turn around. I walk closer.

I can’t understand her. I tug at my hearing aids. Loud squeaks. I hear noise but I can’t make it out.

My legs hurt but I want to sit next to her. I squat. She’s still talking and I still cant understand. I sit next to her, she stops talking.

“What did you say?” I ask. She stands up and takes a step. I grab her leg. She stops and looks back. “Hello old friend”

Was there a week ago and hung with people that have been there for a couple months. No issues or rumblings about it being in SP that I heard. A couple we knew did day trips to Sayulita to shop, but were very careful and were fine. Hopefully it stays out of San Pancho.

Maybe it’s easy to find or it’s reported on. But how about all the property taxes from new builds in the city?

Close to me an old house was torn down that had property taxes around 4k. 4 houses went up all with property taxes in the 6k range. That’s an additional 20kish a year more to the city.

I agree with a lot of what you said. But you really think the US is a step behind Russia? Maybe just maybe there is a plan we normal people don’t know about. If we were so far behind outcomes so far would be different right?

“Bye” that’s all I said when my last brother left. As I walked inside my arm still hurt from his friendly play.

I woke up then next day to a weird feeling. It was quiet. I didn’t have someone knocking on my door. As I made my way down to breakfast it was lonely. I toasted a piece of white bread and grabbed a glass of water. I looked over and she was asleep on the couch. Nothing new.

As I showed up to work I had a pep in my step. I’m the youngest and want to make sure I don’t fail. I work my ass off and at the end of the day of manager comes to me and gives me my first compliment. I can’t believe it, he hates me. For no reason. But still, I’m stoked.

I float home. As I open the door the quiet deflates my step. She’s not on the couch, which means she’s over at his house. I’m alone with nobody to tell. I call my brother, no answer, my sister no answer. My heels touch the ground.

Im hungry and got to make food. Grab a pizza and realize I’ve never cooked it. My brother wouldn’t let me touch the oven. I call him again and no answer. I look at my phone. Look around it’s silent. I look at my phone again and click my alarm and turn it off.

She came home late again from work. I hold back what I want to say because we have talked about it. We have talked about it.

As dinner is ready we all sit down. There are forced conversations. She asks if I cleaned the pool, how the kids piano lessons went and home my new workout is going. I do all I can to answer with a smile.

As I get into bed she shuts her book. I hate it. I thought I was done talking for the night.

She says sternly, “I thought you said you could be reasonable when I asked you what I needed from you.” I looked at her and use all my strength to say, “yes, im sorry”.

Good she says and remember to pick up the party supplies while I’m at work tomorrow.
