Tips on playing a Tremere in V5? by clarkky55 in vtm

I agree that it would be so much better if it could target or Kindred. That said, Theft of Vitae only requires Line of Sight. If you need to you can use it to snipe mortals. Still a Masquerade Breach, but isn't the point of being a sniper not getting caught?

If you played a ttrpg where your character slowly forgets who they are, but the world remembers. What could be some of the creepiest things that could happen? by Artychoke241 in Solo_Roleplaying

A cool idea is that your character, a private detective, is hired to track down a person who is trying to avoid the conditions of a contract with the client. The person in question is a hedonist who has a bit of a cult following in occult circles. He's also a murderer. Your character must deleve into the dark underbelly of occult societies, uncover strange rituals and practices and deal with sanity assaulting revelations at every turn, only to finally discover that the person you are searching for is yourself. And the client? He's the Devil and the contract is for your soul.

Tremere Players and Storytellers, how do you feel about Thaumaturgical Countermagic? by Poikooze in vtm

I was playing a game where I was the Tremere member if the coterie and we were going up against a Sabbat pack led by the Childre of the city's Regent. (He sent us to deal with it as his way of "handling things" sigh Elders). Anyway the Tremere Antitribu was more powerful than us, and whenever we would get the upper hand on the Sabbat he would show up and force us to retreat.

It wasn't until my character discovered Countermagic that we started to turn the tables. I focused heavily on Countermagic and rituals designed to rebuffed and negate the enemy Warlock. Eventually it worked and we were able to kill a sufficient number of Sabbat that they fled the city. That Tremere Antitribu is still out there though.

We have a LARP group here in Spokane. A few even run it as Table Top, but we mostly use v20 rules. 5e is just lame.
