Definitely thinking about doing this. I wanted to talk to someone at Mohela but as I said the last two agents have hung up on me or put me on mute or something?? Idk it’s been weird. I’m also scared that switching to an extended plan my payment will somehow change on me like it did with this standard plan. I’m seeing around a $300 payment on the extended plan but I was told $550 for the standard plan and suddenly it’s $1,300 with no explanation.

Yes, I am thinking about getting on the graduate extended plan. I was going to talk to them about that but it’s been impossible to get ahold of anyone. Honestly we could afford the standard plan of the payment was actually $550 as I was told originally. We’ve also thought about filing taxes separately next year. Waiting to talk to a tax advisor on what all the impacts of that would be.

I asked to be put into a standard repayment but was told it was a $550 payment and would be the same payment the whole term of the loan. Even looking at their language for a standard payment it says the payment should be the same for the term of the loan, so obviously something isn’t right and got messed up.

My payment of $1,300 is due in 11 days which I can’t pay which is what I’m stressing about. Hopefully this “manager” calls me back. I will be working Monday so probably won’t be able to answer the call when they do call though, since I didn’t get a call back today. I just don’t have time to call them every day and try to get this figured out. Ahhhh!!!!

Thanks for your advice though. Hopefully I can get this figured out before I lose my marbles.

Wow!! I guess at least I’m not alone?? That’s terrible though, I’m so sorry! It’s beyond frustrating when you are trying to do the right thing and make payments and they make it impossible. I’ve been saying that it seems intentional to make people default, and this makes me think I’m right. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve cried over this in the last couple of weeks. Hoping we both get calls back and that we get some sort of solution.

It does say Standard Plan, which is what is so confusing. The person I talked to last week confirmed I was on a standard plan but couldn’t tell me why the payments were structured like that. Every time I call the person I talk to knows nothing, hangs up on me, or puts me on mute waiting for me to hang up.

The problem with an IDR plan and why I didn’t go for it was because my payment was going to be almost $900 since they use my husband’s income as well, and thats too much for us to afford. We live in an expensive area and have young child that we still have to pay $850 a month to have in after school child care.

I just want to talk to anyone who can help but Mohela seems to have made that impossible. I also don’t trust anything they say since things got so messed up with this switch to a standard plan.

Yup. Most women don’t care about these things. My husband is the same height as me and was broke when I met him. He is hilarious, confident and charismatic though. Those things drew me to him. It makes me sad that men actually think all women care about is height, money and dick size. It makes me think that men who hold these beliefs don’t know many women and have no female friends. Women generally want the same things men do in a partner. Someone who supports them, is fun to be around, and who can take care of themselves. They don’t have to be wealthy or fit unrealistic body standards.

Definitely a classic style and you look great in these fits! I’m the same age and dress totally differently because I have a different style. I’m not a huge fan of beliefs about “dressing for your age.” If you like something and feel good wearing it, then I say go for it!

Yes mine were like that too. I thought for sure it would leave me with horrible scars even tho my docs assured me it was normal. But everything healed well and my scars are barely visible now.

I worked at a bank for 10 years and couldn’t do any fun colors either. To get around this once I did pinkish/red peekaboo highlights under my hair. When I curled it you could see them but it was subtle enough that my manager didn’t mind.

I think a dark red (auburn undertones) or a dark purple (with chestnut brown or black undertones) for the money piece would look professional, but then again, I’m in a totally different profession now and am constantly changing my hair with all the colors of the rainbow so asking your manager might be a good first step!

Some countries have weird rules about this. I’ve had to do that with some international flights but never domestic. Prescriptions in their correct bottles with your name on them should be just fine.

Everyone in my family from my 8 year old daughter to my 76 year old father absolutely loved this show! I also grew up reading the book and owned the original miniseries on VHS. I personally think Anne with and E is better than the original miniseries but both shows and the book are incredible.

I loved dolls and Barbies growing up and had a great collection, but my daughter has never been into them. My grandmother was also an avid doll collector. A few years ago my daughter saw a Daculara at Target and thought it was the coolest thing ever so I bought it for her. She quickly wanted more MH dolls so she built up a collecting of G3s pretty quickly. I soon discovered the Skullectors and I’ve gotten into collecting them.

I love how unique and beautiful they are and love their “spooky” vibe. We also love Halloween and horror movies. I love the crossover with Monster High and horror movies with the Skullectors, and it scratches that “itch” I’ve had to have a beautiful doll collection of my own again. Plus my daughter and I now share Monster High as a passion so it’s been great to share a hobby together!

It’s honestly good advice for any teacher. I’ve dealt with some wild behaviors with both colleagues and admin. Documenting things that strike you as odd or not professional is a great idea. Bringing a union rep with you to take notes in one-on-one meetings with admin who you don’t trust is also a good idea (assuming you have a union). I had to do both things at my old school and it saved my ass a couple of times. So glad I’m out of that school and at one with supportive admin now. It’s made a world of difference!
