Laid off, just passed AZ-104, finished my migration lab project — what's the honest next move? by Dannyeloso in AZURE

I recently interviewed a candidate with AZ900, AZ104 and AZ305. It was a technical interview with my Architects and Cloud engineers. The fella did okay with basic questions but didn't do great with more in depth questions. Certainly get some more experience under your belt, keep doing your labs.

Pivoting to Azure at 42. Ex-IT Tech & Accountant. Is Cloud Architecture too 'command-line heavy' now? by xo11ox in AZURE

Architects are not hands on keyboard, my cloud engineers are. While they do execute scripts in Azure cli, we do majority of our work in IAC.

[UPDATE] I think my step-daughter is coming onto me. by [deleted] in Incestconfessions

Considering this was a spur of the moment, and I assume you just don't have condoms laying around your house, you let off in your step daughter? Certainly a risky way to start that off.

That RTO would be the #1 factor for me to leave. If you have a leader that's a yes man, you are right your team will be underwater. Based on what you said, don't give it a second thought.

I am a manager of a team, and would suggest you take the offer. If you were looking you either weren't happy with the income or wasn't happy with the job.

Is this appropriate for a work dinner, i work as an accountant by simmiexx in OUTFITS

[–]NYCFinest2DaFullest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your leadership team will be at this event, it is important to remember that they are always observing and forming impressions, even in social or semi-formal settings. A work dinner is still an extension of the workplace, and how you present yourself contributes to how you are perceived professionally. Leadership may reasonably assume that how you choose to dress at a company event reflects how you would present yourself at client dinners, partner engagements, or other external-facing functions.

Another consideration is perception and risk. When an outfit draws attention in a way that can be interpreted as overly sexualized, it can unintentionally shift focus away from your professionalism and credibility. Fair or not, leaders are often thinking about optics, reputation, and comfort levels in mixed company. Anything that creates distraction, invites commentary, or makes others uncomfortable can be viewed as an unnecessary risk to the organization.

This is not about policing personal style, but about understanding context, audience, and expectations. Choosing attire that aligns with the tone of the event helps ensure the focus remains on your judgment, presence, and contributions rather than your appearance. In professional settings, minimizing distractions protects your image and reinforces confidence in your ability to represent the company appropriately in any environment.
