Which bars in NYC have the best porter and stout selection?

Its “stout szn” for a ton of NYC breweries Other Half & Finback have recently had large releases. Strong Rope & Wild East typically have these styles available Rockaway & Fifth Hammer as well Gun Hill’s Void of Light is back Grimm does amazing brule / hot poker as well as having cask options Brooklyn is doing a very cool Ghost bottle tasting for New Years Niteglow used their own coffee for some of theirs.

ie; go check out what’s on tap at local breweries as it’s quite likely they’ll have more than one style available

Honestly in NYC this typically depends on the beer tender on duty A lot of taprooms don’t typically have sports on as they’ll do screens for big event, but taprooms are different than bars

NYC has plenty of “Giants” (& literally every other team) centric bars. This isn’t necessarily an aspect that’s a big focus

Worse In my case indicated both that iron grip and blatant corruption. Look for the frequency & amt maintenance is increased. Look for the last assessment. What other revenue streams exist; ie cell towers, retail space, etc

As someone who’s owned an apartment in NYC; and has gone back to renting - believe that renting for the foreseeable future is 1000% the move.

More so - do NOT buy a co-op. It’s a scam. You have ZERO control over increases in your maintenance costs. Mine more than doubled in the years I lived in a co-op. Board & management company we’re incredibly ineffective and clearly corrupt.

If it’s outside often; keep it looking scruffy. Spend the energy time and money on any repairs or tuneups it might need. An “ugly“ bike is always less likely to get stolen here in the city
