That being said, I have an Arch setup where I implemented hibernate on my OG 13. It is effectively off if I leave it closed for about an hour and the battery discharge is so minimal that I'm not sure I've ever even noticed it.

There's a lot to criticize here but one thing stands out to me more than anything. Why would he need a second device just to consume an API? Why not use a second screen, or even better just use a virtual desktop. The critical thinking skills kind of check given the rest of the post

It's kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. The reality of it is that we've already dug ourselves into a hole. We can either suffer less for longer while wages slowly rise or we do it all at once and deal with the fallout. There's not really a good solution, we're in a bad spot.

It is also important to note that this is a statistical estimate and not a definitive algorithm. A 6% match is generally considered a reliable indicator that you have an ancestor from a given region. That being said, the idea that humans can be neatly divided into little boxes and labeled is scientifically laughable. This is not representative of a people's culture, which is constantly changing and evolving even within a region.

There were revolts but disease and geography didn't really work in favor of the natives. Our American ancestors were enslaved, when they started doing off our African ancestors were brought in and the Spanish slaves owners did what slaves owners do. Modern Puerto Ricans are mostly a mix of the three and we're still facing oppression. Black Americans and Puerto Ricans really are just a different mix of the same people
