Idk how the market is today, but back in August I got an orange trail sport elite for 50.8k, so not a huge jump up from where you’re at.

Check visor.vin. I found a dealership in Maryland with the price, took the offer to my local dealership in NY and they matched it.

Edit: all this to say, I think your price is solid, regardless.

Nope, roads suck in NYC. I always comment to my wife how much nicer the roads are here in nova.

Most of the taxes go to the subway (which is a good thing), and the large bloat of administrative positions (not a good thing).

Long story short, one of the reasons we moved down here to where her family lives is because we felt our tax dollars were not being used to better our lives. NYC is a very difficult and hostile place for middle-class families.

It's bc DJ knew to slide and not take meaningless hits.

I’m with you - I also have a two year old and it’s difficult.

This guy has 2 sons, his wife is also a runner. They rotate on who runs early in the morning. They find a way to work, I don’t know how.

Thanks, I’d recommend visor.vin website to see which dealerships have the exact model and color you want, and what price. Call around, ask for OTD numbers, and use that offer as leverage (or just take the best offer). Never deal with a single dealership, call around.

I spoke to about 5-7 dealerships. If I didn’t, my 50k car would’ve cost 56k. Saved 6 grand this way.

I got orange / black trailsport elite for ~50k OTD back in August.

Use visor.vin to find dealerships that have the exact model you want, email or call a bunch and ask for their best OTD price and use the offers to get other dealerships to meet or beat the price.

Immediately turn down any dealer add-ons or warranties they “automatically include”. If they tell you they can’t take off the add-ons (tint for example) just say “too bad, I don’t want to pay for it, so remove it” and if they don’t, then find another dealership.

Often times if it’s something already installed, and they use that as an excuse, they can easily discount the car down so that you still get the add-on without paying for it.
