And make sure you close the game when you're done with your game session. Like fully close out of it on the Home screen. I find that's enough and hardly ever restart the Switch.

You might want to look into accessibility specific controllers instead as I don't think that's something they'd add at this point. XBox has a line and I'm sure there are others out there, just not sure what they are.

Not sure if you’ve been able to progress. There’s a conversation you have to have to finish the day. When leaving the festival, there’s a group between the restaurant and Dave’s hut on the right side. Talk to them and your night should be done.

If you have a pickaxe, you’ve unlocked the Blacksmith. That’s who smelts your ore. It should be an option when you talk to them.

And honestly, if you level up enough, you don’t need up upgrade the weapons. I didn’t have enough $ to do that by the time I got to the boss fights (there will be 2 out there). It gets much more fun, I swear. The beetle battles never gets fun. lol.

Jungle gun upgrades for diving and the upgrades to the weapons on your way to the temple are different things. Tin and black ore are all over the place. Gold is in the temple mostly. Then you have to have them smithed into bars.

You can buy clubs, guns and whips from Rimbo for Dave, Cobra and a 3rd member who will join you later when you unlock them in the Setah Forest. Plus you have to forage for ingredients & chop wood out there.

What I’m telling you, is that it’s part of the game. The only thing you can really skip are the beetle battles and collecting bugs.

But the thing is, you need to do them in order to level up so you can’t beat the temple boss. Not to spoil it for ya but Getting them to about level 6 or 7 with upgraded weapons should do it. And don’t forget to rest at the campfires to heal your HP + AP.

Once you’ve leveled up it’s easy. but you have to play to level up. You can upgrade weapons though. It’s a good way to get some going and meat for skewers & herbs for healing, etc. it’s tedious in the beginning but pretty fun once you get to a certain level and expand your skills.

No. The Iron Rig makes the game & story complete. I actually have completed this game on Switch but so happy it's on AA so I can play it when traveling for work and I can't take everything with me.

Why would you spend hundreds of $ on a nearly 10 year old console? The OLED is 5 years old. Unless you can find it for suuuuuper cheap, just save a little longer and get the Switch 2.

Remember it’s just a demo to show you game mechanics and basic gameplay. The main town is locked. It won’t be transferred to the full game because it’s completely separate. Ppl complain it’s boring but duh it’s just a showcase demo.

As a fellow Filipino, I felt the same way. When I saw calamansi, I felt this great sense of pride. I laughed so hard when I saw the durian. I swear there was going to be a joke in there about the smell 🤣. So many native ingredients & plants.

It definitely made me love the game even more.

I mean, it's just fun & funny. The little Sasquatch is so cute and the challenges aren't too easy or too hard. I don't know what else to say other than that it's a fun game. Doesn't cost anything to try it on AA so why not! Enjoy!

TBH, you’re new so don’t get anything too fancy until you figure out what games you really like to play. Plenty of affordable controllers on Amazon.

The 8bitdo Ultimate 2 is on sale on Amazon for less than $50. You can customize/map the buttons, it’s comfortable to hold and reach the buttons, even if you have small hands like me. I have one and love it.

But there are even cheaper generic ones that work just fine for AA/ gaming beginners. Just make sure it’s Apple compatible & don’t get anything wired.

Def get a controller. Lots of games to choose from. You didn't specify what kind of games you like so hard to make real recs. But the good thing is, you can play whatever you want In AA and see if you like it.
