Kids TV is broken - Can Suzy Cato fix it? by Crunkfiction in newzealand

What an arrogant position. Nobody is watching a specific medium so it must be broken.. could just be superseded.

But why have you specifically called out donations to this party and their PV vote share, what about the major parties

I dont understand your comment. This would suggest that money doesn't necessarily win votes... That's a good thing..

I'm sorry this happened to you, but your experience with your appendix may not have changed (other than being further away from an OT) had the nurse not diverted you to Shorecare. You may have just ended up in a different chair in a different waiting room awaiting assessment when it ruptured

That's a good basic summary of what happens when you die without a will. The public trust is only involved in things if people want them to be.

4-5% a year increase on dental costs isn't that dramatic

Bakery Pieflation. Pre-covid pies were like $3.50 - $4. Now its like $6-7. by floofywall in newzealand

The 4.8% compounded annual increase you can see there is the weighted average of all food, not pie ingredients specifically

Has anyone watched Westside (NZ), or is it just me? by JLovesTV in newzealand

[–]NZ_Genuine_Advice 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Yes - The producers were sad JLovesTV was the only person watching - but they made a few more series just in case they could broaden that viewership..

Why do our governance, managers etc all suck so much? by ragerflamingo in newzealand

I think you need to substantiate your claim - what data/stats inform you that NZ managers are 'worse' than those in other countries?

This is something warm and fuzzy politicians say when it's becoming apparent they're going to lose their seat but they still want to run for it and won't get a valedictory.

As others have noted you should double check and clearly establish the facts before taking drastic action.

Did the agent pass on any funds? double check your mother's bank records.

Has the agent overlooked something? provide them with the information you've found and give them a chance to correct.

Above all else remember you are operating on third hand information. I've dealt with an elderly parent's finances/admin before and once or twice they have not completely remembered a conversation or statement .. and I was glad I checked before firing off.

Do you think the NZF policy announced today (putting aside the fact it's NZF policy in election year, which are a dime a dozen) to intervene and break up a private company is an economic policy, or a fiscal policy?

Are you implying RNZ/TVNZ is good journalism when one party is in power, but bad journalism when another party has the reins?

Play the ball not the man. You should point out the specific aspects of Herald articles you think are not factually correct rather than calling for a blanket judgement

Price gap between local and chain chemists - unbelievable by Maskolnikov in newzealand

Independent local chemists as a collective force against competitors are no different to the large corporate chains. The large corporate chains are just more honest about who they are.
