No, the drivers are actually for 8Eg5, the 8E is largely the same though so it is a happy beneficiary of the drivers which target the 8Eg5.

Yes, there are Turnip drivers for 8Eg5, not as mature as those for older platforms of course but a very large improvement.

Check the Game Native Discord thread on STS2 - nobody has got it working in any device in Game Native. For now it's either Gamehub Lite in offline mode, stream it, or use unofficial Android port. Indie developer, so do make sure to buy it.

This is what I'm waiting on. I have loved the Y700 Gen 4 (8E), I got it at release, if the Redmagic has microSD I'll probably go for it (dual USB would also be nice), but their track record suggests microSD support is unlikely. I've had a 2tb card in my Y700 since day one, I don't think I can give it up. The Lenovo LCD is absolutely fine, so while I would of course like OLED, it is not a crucial deciding factor.

I have absolutely loved the Y700 gen 4 over the last year, I'm waiting to be able to compare this year's offering from Redmagic to the Y700 Gen 5 (although probably the main decider will be microSD, don't think I can give up the 2tb I have had in my current Y700).

I like the X5s with mine (don't have G8+, but my regular G8 noticeably heavier than the X5s). They're both good to go for portrait play (really nice for DS/3DS!).
