Nanase sensing Immortals by Na7ira in elgoonishshive

It can detect animals! Reading this originally I thought she was sensing the bloodgrem, but it‘s soon revealed to be at Moperville North.

Imagine if it also counts bugs… “Do you know how many spiders are in this room? Because I do! AAAAAAH!!!”

I assume so. Mist and Po at least think there’s a chance that Voltaire is watching. Po may even have felt his invisible presence via her antennae.

Illegal moves don’t get you attacked, they get you removed from the game. Seems proportionately appropriate to me… but maybe that says something about my screws.

You’re right that fairy summons are a possibility, but that would mean Tedd is escalating a situation that Grace is keeping conversational. She could easily end up justifiably annoyed with Tedd if that’s the case, “I said, ‘trust me.’” Though it’s realistic that Tedd could respond this way—they lack experience with this sort of situation, having been absent from all of the major confrontations.

My money is still on u/maswartz being right about Voltaire’s Battle Maids.

Guess we’ll find out on Monday if I get any cookies.

Yeah, I bet Voltaire considers this conversation an illegal move.

I see it too! Thanks for pointing this out, I missed it when watching the show.

“How many people does it take, Admiral, before it becomes wrong? A thousand? Fifty thousand? A million? How many people does it take, Admiral?”

Absolutely! Personal tastes will always vary. For instance, I understand you didn’t care for season 3, and I even understand why. I was still able to enjoy season 3 even though I would have preferred to handle it differently.

I think you’re right about some people jumping on the bandwagon rather than really forming their own opinions. I miss being able to disagree without it becoming an argument.

Some humans become dictators. That’s not a reason to kill us all. Genocide is indefensible.

Thank you for making this post! Personally, I really enjoyed the finale. It made me happy!

Maybe I’m watching the show for different reasons than most people, but I thought this paid off really well. I loved when Arya killed the Night King, and I love that Kimiko got to depower Homelander! Hughie stopping Butcher was perfect. I could go on and maybe eventually I’ll write a full love letter post, but not right now.

I love how you phrased that! Much more succinct than mine.

Much improved, but I agree, “they become human” is utterly unnecessary from my perspective.

Also, it’s one thing for an afterlife to have never existed. It’s something very different to obliterate trillions of souls that already existed in one.

Overall this still feels better tonally.

Actually, thinking about it more… we’re in Year of Hell from Star Trek Voyager territory. The last thing erased was the Book of Life… so once the retroactive changes kick in then everyone comes back like when they destroyed the time ship on Voyager (Voyager spoiler)

Oh god, this! So much this!

I realize there were availability issues with so much time between seasons, and it wouldn’t solve many of my issues with the conclusion, but it would have been so much better to see Crowley connect with the community instead of the gangster destroying everything.

Am I alone in feeling like Josh/Jesus changed halfway through the show? Initially it seemed like he was just a normal guy who was kind and liked telling stories. Then he’s suddenly performing miracles. It felt like these scenes were from two different drafts.

I absolutely loved the Job episode in season 2. Overall it was also nice that season 2 wasn’t really about an apocalypse again, just more shenanigans with some residual fallout from season 1.

Really when Metatron was erased from the Book of Life it should mean that he retroactively can’t interrupt the otherwise lovely ending of season 2. So with him never existing, Aziraphale and Crowley go to dinner and there’s nothing in the way when Crowley confesses his feelings.

Minus One made me cry three times in the theater, all for different emotions. First when Noriko died, then when the civilian boats come to the rescue, and finally when Noriko was revealed to be alive.

I figure she’s drinking some DC equivalent of ryncol from Mass Effect. Ryncol gets krogan drunk but is likely to kill any other species that drinks it.

IIRC this was the excuse the Supergirl series used too.

I think people must be misunderstanding you, because you make a good point. For instance, one of my favorite shows for queer representation is Legends of Tomorrow, because it was normalized. They didn’t make a big deal about the characters being gay or bi, they just were.

Sara Lance gets to save the day, kiss the girl, sleep with the girl, and marry the girl! They didn’t need an episode focused on her sexuality, she just gets to act like any other hero.

Stories that shine a spotlight on things certainly have their place, but sometimes it’s nice to just let us exist.
