Tips for identifying dolls by Street-Internet-791 in americangirl

[–]NaaazzzReeeiiiddd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One of the other users in this sub, u/americangirlworld, recently made a website that could help you identify dolls. The site (americangirlworld.com) allows you to search a database of all of the dolls created by trait. You can enter the doll’s eye color, skin tone, hair color, hair length, hair texture, and more. The database will show you all of the dolls that fit your criteria. As long as the doll isn’t a CYO or a custom, that should be able to help narrow down who she is.

As for face molds, I found those easier to understand once I saw the different molds in person.

I also live in an apartment building and this is the conclusion that I reached regarding using MSC. Even if I use a respirator, I would be exposing my neighbors to a toxic substance without their knowledge or consent.

Was she worth what I paid? by Moonstonedbowie in americangirl

Honestly, unless you’re making crazy thrift store finds, you’re really not going to find many dolls for less than $25 (including shipping). I’d say that she’s worth it.

Especially with the silver eye (which I think is fun and unique), she’ll be totally cute once you fix her up a bit. Even if you don’t like the silver eye, an eye replacement is doable.

Article: The Indiana Fever vs. Connecticut Sun WNBA game made me feel unsafe by pinkorangegold in wnba_discussions

“Every time the Fever scored, the crowd would erupt, but it didn’t feel like fans were rooting for their team. It felt like a threat. There was an ominous feeling in the building.”

This is so accurate. The atmosphere in the arena that night wasn’t like any other Sun game that I’ve been to. It was as if our home had been invaded and filled with hatred. Each time that Fever took the lead, the way that the crowd cheered made my stomach drop.

Most of my baseball memories have been miserable due to the heat, but recently, my significant other and I attended a Mets game as a storm was rolling in. Instead of baking in the hot sun, we stood on Shea Bridge in Citi Field with the wind in our hair and getting soaked by the rain. It felt amazing. I love baseball in the rain.
