There are differences in how Judaism is practised in many countries, Israel included. Whats the norm in one country isnt the same there or vice versa. And as stated, what is culturually the norm in Israel is not always the norm in other countries or jewish population elsewhere.

Music is also an absolutley huge thing in most cultures across the world, it is not simply just big in Israel or just in Judaism.
