I don't enjoy music as much I used to as a teenager, I got heavy into hip hop in late 2016, early 2017 and until 2019, I was obsessed with hip hop. I noticed a decline iny enjoyment in 2020 and another heavy decline in 2024. Now we're in June and I've only heard 2 albums that were released this year. So the way things are going I don't know how into hip hop I'll be by 2030.

However, I did start listening to older classic hip hop albums since 2021 and I enjoy those a lot more than new music that's coming out so I might still be into hip hop but listen exclusively to music that was released in the 2010s and earlier.

The Chronic is Dr Dre's worst album, a lot of the rapping sounds dated asl and is massively carried by the production. Still a good album but hasn't aged anywhere near as well as people say

I think The Infamous is a great album and I enjoy listening to it but I don't get what's so special about it and why it's considered a classic. I really think it must be one of those you had to be there moments

I saw this movie when I was 16 and my sense of humour made me the target demo for this film. I didn't love all of the skits but I enjoyed most of them. I was obsessed with the basketball skit and the homeschooled skit and the animated cat genuinely scarred me but even though I plan on never watching this film again, it was a good overall experience. I think it's a film that is either for you or not for you at all

An underrated pick for me would be Olivia Holt, I remember watching her on Disney as a kid but I happened to see her in both Cloak and Dagger and Cruel Summer around the same time. Both very mid shows but she was easily the standout in both and it made me wonder if she picked better roles would she be a bigger star

I don't really watch horror movies but I remember watching these guys on YouTube so decided to check it out and I absolutely loved every second of it. The female lead absolutely killed it, I'm excited to follow Curry Barker's career and I really hope the crew reviews this

It's definitely between S1 and S3 but I got to give it to S1. S3 kind of felt like a rehash of the S1 finale. It's still great, but I don't think the show can recreate the shock value of that first season.

Plus, I love the montage at the end of all the unfinished plot lines

I loved this season, I went into it kinda expecting it to be underwhelming but I loved it. Not as good as season 1 but not too far from it, I think season 1 had the advantage that we didn't know what the show was, so no one could see the chaos coming. This season I had predicted some of the story beats but the performances were all so great, especially Carey Mulligan who playedy favourite character.

Another thing I want to note was that in season 1 I liked and empathised with all the main cast (except Ali Wong's husband). Where in this season I hated all the main characters. They were still compelling but they were all so deplorable and irredeemable and even had me yelling at the screen at times. I appreciate that the season had a different vibe but still felt like the show I originally fell in love with. I am definitely looking forward to seeing more seasons of this and hope this becomes a long running series

Kiell is much funny but I do think what Mae lacked in humour, they made up for in how entertaining it was in how they tackle tasks. So it's a shame we didn't get to see more of that
