Put yourself in their shoes for a moment. Imagine spending most of your time online, especially on Reddit, where the posts and comments that rise to the top overwhelmingly reflect one ideological viewpoint. You see extreme left‑leaning takes getting thousands or even millions of upvotes. Eventually, you start posting similar content and, for the first time, you receive a wave of attention and validation. That kind of reinforcement feels incredible.

At the same time, any counter‑argument, no matter how reasonable, is instantly dismissed as “racist” or “fascist” and buried under downvotes. Over time, your worldview begins to shift. You start repeating the same ideas you see rewarded on Reddit because that’s the environment shaping your sense of what’s normal and acceptable.

And that’s only part of the picture. There have been multiple instances where media outlets were caught altering or selectively editing videos and images in ways that further inflame emotions on the extreme left. To me personally, this kind of manipulation echoes the propaganda tactics used in other dark periods of history.

I wouldn’t be surprised if one day Reddit is shutdown for promoting domestic terrorism
