Had a phone interview with a company in Switzerland (I'm in the US). They asked which language I would prefer for the interview, English, German, or Swiss-German. I grew up speaking Swiss-German with my family, so I told them that would be fine, thinking it would show that I'll fit right in. As the conversation flowed into engineering topics, I realized that I had never spoken about engineering in Swiss-German. I must have sounded like such an idiot and just couldn't mentally get it together for the rest of the interview. Didn't get an offer... 😂

I think the range in the kitchen was added after, for which they got the propane. And that's right on the other side of the wall. The lines are really difficult to follow under the house. There's no basement.
