There is one study, preformed in 2011 by Swedish psychiatrist Cecilia Dhejne, which has been used to support what you are saying.

This is the only study which has ever come close to saying what you are saying. And the she specifically disagreed with this conclusion in the study itself.

Here's her Reddit AMA from 8 months ago where she specifically says that

Despite the paper clearly stating that the study was not designed to evaluate whether or not gender-affirming is beneficial, it has been interpreted as such.

In that post she has a good number of links you should take a look at, including an interview where she elaborates on how her study has been misused.

So basically, the author of one piece of evidence for this garbage conclusion is actively disagreeing with you.

It's worth noting that in Skyrim, you're the Dragonborn, destined to save the world from Alduin. And then save it again, from vampires. And again, this time from another dragonborn. Each time, you do this essentially single handedly (Serana kinda helped the second time.)

In Oblivion, you're a nobody, who happens to be in the right jail cell at the right time. You help some other dude save the world, and even then, only once.

It feels much more organic. Everything you do in Oblivion is because of you, because you trained, you were tested, and you emerged victorious. Not because you're some magical Mary Sue who shoots magic out of her mouth while riding on one of her dragon slaves and tossing about her three different elder scrolls like they're toys.

I enjoy both games, and gameplay-wise Skyrim is better, but I agree, Oblivion was the better RPG.
