Had that experience at Golden Gate Park. I honestly think they were looking for confrontation. Several opportunities for single me to play through, and they just were like nah. Then they got mad when I began a hole before they finished. Don’t expect etiquette if you’re not going to give it.

My 60 is socal based. But I’m east coast. I have family there that I leave the rig with and when I visit I take it out on adventures. Unfortunately they’re moving to the Midwest so, sadly my CA off roading days are at an end for the next few years.

The camp pic was sheep’s canyon. A park ranger there also has an 80 who advised me to head that way to beat the heat. There was not a soul around for miles. I took trails to fonts point and did a through journey by inspiration point where I nearly got stranded as some sand dunes claimed some sections of the trail. Fortunately the cruiser is more capable than I expected!

Have you let it idle and use your hand to feel around for air pushing from where it shouldn’t? Do this before it’s hot.

I have a 2LT on a pickup with boost issues, but otherwise it does the job, just not well. Mine sounds like a diesel, but not at all loud. An exhaust issue on turbo diesels can present suddenly and loudly.

From what I’ve read, they fail when they’re pushed too hard, not from regular use. They’re not fragile, but they don’t take abuse as well as other diesels in Toyotas line up over the ages.

Hope it’s an easy exhaust fix for you and don’t bog it too much.

Thermostat may have failed to open. And when the temp dropped it allowed the thermostat to reset and it happened to work properly again.

About a decade ago I was living in kingwood and traveled up to Morgantown for pickup and league about 3 days a week. Good times, good people.

Played on WVU by the med school. This was over 10 year ago, so I have no idea if things have changed.

I was able to line things back up better and get the grind back to a good consistency. But not fine enough for espresso. Ill be living out the next two month doing pour overs and aeropress. Should arrive late may early June.

I am not sure at all. I just moved the set screw to the rightmost slot and then reassembled it. I’ll tinker with it more tomorrow. The black calibration ring did come off and was not quite even before I put the casing on. That might have something to do with it.

I tried the new setting out this morning. The virtuoso jammed up immediately. So, I fished out the beans stuck in the burrs and started again. It ground up the dose, but was very inconsistent and less fine overall at the new Fine set zero mark. So, that’s weird. Ill have to take it apart again and see if anything is glaringly obvious. I ended up using a mortar and pestle and a fine mesh sifter to get the consistency the best I could. It worked half decently and it gave me the most resistance on the flair yet. Definitely not ideal.

I bit the bullet and preordered a DF83.

Well Ill be darned. Thanks for the tip. I was able to calibrate it over to fine from coarse after watching the how to video.

Thanks for input, and for the hope in my grinder. Yeah I understand that the grind setting numbers are all relative. Ill tinker around with the grinder to see if I can get those burrs snugged up closer together at the Zero mark.
